I didnt know anything about this and you got the real news, Yiu ain't fake. No fake news, None of that. I'm subbing. Hopefully you wouldn't need to make anymore videos about any rappers and their deaths in the near future but only god knows man. The world is crazy.
??? Cause niggas in the streets got to much heat on them. The main reason it was hard for Chicago to come up. These big music labels knows it’s a investment risk how are you going to make any money if you got people after your artist wanting to kill him.
I've visited Toronto many years ago, but never knew about the real street side of things. Shit is crazy like over here in the USA! Be safe homies. Much luv & respect!!!
I'm from Toronto but I'm from a little older generation, and I'm just realizing the problem is they're mixing the streets and the music. There's a lot of rappers with gang ties but if they're not dissing rivals openly they should be fine. Can't be dissing rivals and they're dead homies and not expect retaliation. There's no rules in the streets.
I have a friend who luckily got away. His dad moved the whole family away from jane and finch I remember he told me he used to go the the basketball court and there's be shoot outs and drive by's. and a buddy of mine from back in the day moved to toronto got murdered. These guys have no code, instead of making money they too busy killing each other it's nuts.
I live in Toronto and follow the rap scene here very closely. This video is well made and has the majority of the facts right, except I think Jane/Driftwood and Rexdale been going at it for like 20-30 years. Only critique is that you could have linked in the beef between Rexdale/Yung Lava (aka one of your most viewed videos!) and Driftwood. In his song Conversations you played, he says "That's why we put Mr. TT in critical"....Directly talking about Robin Banks getting paralyzed (Mr. TT is Robin Banks). Still crazy to watch the video of Houdini/Bvlly and Houdini/Pop Smoke from like 6 months ago when they were all alive. Keep up the content.
What more do u want from him hes not from toronto trying to figure out all this info from online sources that have no clue what there talking about i think he did an amazing job
Fun fact. Regent Park's project housing is the first one established in North America. That's right, the blue print for all the "ghettos" and "projects" known all across the USA started with Regent Park. Oh Regent Park is downtown Toronto. It's far from Jane & Finch where Driftwood is. J&F is the furthest up you can get before it's no longer Toronto.
@CommentCop Badge#666 So your telling Me Regent Park is the first projects of Canada? I’m sure the United States had projects and Ghettos before Regent park was established.
This murder culture, in Toronti, Chicago, Houston, ETC. shits just crazy, these kids have no respect for human life at all... killing another person us absolutely nothing and means nothing, and it honestly is scary to think of, cause if they are doing this, then they have kids who grow up around this, what are their kids going to be like... my outlook on the future is not optimistic at all...SMH😪
Glad I didn’t go down this route in life. God was looking over me and made sure I didn’t mess with people like this no more. Still building my life back up but I’m getting there.
You talked a lot about the west end rappers but a rapper named Bvlly from the east end of Toronto who had a ton of links with Houdini and North Jane was killed on the same day as Why s was found. Would be cool if you did a video on him cuz even though he didnt have as much clout as North Jane, he was soo talented with his sound.
His gun jammed and he dropped it for the cops to find as evidence 😒. The 17 year old was holding it down tho 🤷🏾♂️. Or tried to. It's unfortunate at the end of the day. Cause a lot of people can get out of the hood if they just make songs without constantly dissing opps. It's just my opinion as an og.
Regent park if y’all ain’t know that’s where they shot the movie paid in full especially the scenes they was on the ball court 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️but damn rest up Houdini
Y'all gotta understand for years Toronto got no limelight, you can't just be some teeny boppy fun rapper out here, the style is still a bit behind so if you're not what you rap about they'll really test you..there is no "Canada" even the ppl in Toronto don't know what goes on in "Canada" it's just Toronto beautiful yet toxic ass city

I didnt know anything about this and you got the real news, Yiu ain't fake. No fake news, None of that. I'm subbing. Hopefully you wouldn't need to make anymore videos about any rappers and their deaths in the near future but only god knows man. The world is crazy.
The industry so disconnected with the people they can't even get the ones they like out of the streets..... LLH🕊
??? Cause niggas in the streets got to much heat on them. The main reason it was hard for Chicago to come up. These big music labels knows it’s a investment risk how are you going to make any money if you got people after your artist wanting to kill him.
LLH he in a better place now
I've visited Toronto many years ago, but never knew about the real street side of things. Shit is crazy like over here in the USA! Be safe homies. Much luv & respect!!!
Torxnto chill out its not a competition
I'm from Toronto but I'm from a little older generation, and I'm just realizing the problem is they're mixing the streets and the music. There's a lot of rappers with gang ties but if they're not dissing rivals openly they should be fine. Can't be dissing rivals and they're dead homies and not expect retaliation. There's no rules in the streets.
@Torxnto Wow!!! I hope it calms down up there soon. Be safe!!!
@@scorpioholic777 Yeah, I feel you cause that's true everywhere in any hood! Gotta watch what you say in your songs these days.
If you’re not from regent park or Jane and Finch then it’s safe. One of the safest societies in the world.
Trap Geek The Real Goat!!!!!! You know how to explain!!!!
@@travismiller89 Agreed, but overall, still did a good job.
@@whossteppin3203 Yea, he did a good job, its just called constructive criticism champ
@@jawz122 He did.
@@whossteppin3203 yeah he did crazy ass research to find all this out as not from toronto
@@dallascowboysnation928 The US had slums, but no established projects. US took the regent park model in the early US ghettos.
Want a cookie
didnt he say that it's far in the video
Exact. Just commented something similar. It was the blueprint for all other housing projects.
Good video i never knew they was getting down like this over there
This murder culture, in Toronti, Chicago, Houston, ETC. shits just crazy, these kids have no respect for human life at all... killing another person us absolutely nothing and means nothing, and it honestly is scary to think of, cause if they are doing this, then they have kids who grow up around this, what are their kids going to be like... my outlook on the future is not optimistic at all...SMH😪
Toronto isn't even like that, the homicide rate reaches 2 every 100,000 people and lame wannabes say Toronto is crazy
Bro I love how you know what ur talking abt and you make the stories so much better
Imagine that 15 year old tellin that story when he’s older (R.I.P Houdini🙏)
he makes songs now his name is houligan wassa
40 min to wait. Thats dedication right there.
Glad I didn’t go down this route in life. God was looking over me and made sure I didn’t mess with people like this no more. Still building my life back up but I’m getting there.
The 1 time I don’t skip the song of the day
You talked a lot about the west end rappers but a rapper named Bvlly from the east end of Toronto who had a ton of links with Houdini and North Jane was killed on the same day as Why s was found. Would be cool if you did a video on him cuz even though he didnt have as much clout as North Jane, he was soo talented with his sound.
Bvlly was from malvern.
Moving Product that’s the east end lol
Joskiilaflame Ik Ik I was just makin it clear. He was from vern block👿
Moving Product ah reppin vern
the one song of the day i aint skipped
Salute from Toronto Canada 🇨🇦 nothing sweet bout it! 🙏💪✌️
I got mad respect for the 15 year old kid bussing back 💯
His gun jammed and he dropped it for the cops to find as evidence 😒. The 17 year old was holding it down tho 🤷🏾♂️. Or tried to. It's unfortunate at the end of the day. Cause a lot of people can get out of the hood if they just make songs without constantly dissing opps. It's just my opinion as an og.
