I agree. I think people often forget that SLC is so beautiful because they think the airport has to be small and in the middle of nowhere for it to be this pretty.
Thanks for posting this one ! Being from SLC and having lived around the northern part of the state it was really neat to see the familiar locades from the air! Thanks for sharing!
WOWOWOWOW!!!! Super-Fantabulous views!! OK, confession time. I've never been to Salt Lake City - or Utah for that matter. I've flown over Utah many times, but haven't been there. My GF has been to Park City. Hopefully, your wife's jury duty is treating her well - or at least reasonably so. Anyhow, we're having sunny skies and 43 degrees this afternoon. We'll see if we get any more rain/snow mixes later this week.
My wife was excused from her jury duty as they selected the jury before they ever got to her number. It was an eminent domain case. And I was thinking, man it couldn't get more boring than that haha. Actually, watching people argue in court would probably be interesting no matter what, but still. The state vs. the land owner was what the trial was for. I assume over a dispute in compensation paid.
@@sla31 Wow. She lucked out there. Yes, that probably would've been a boring case, although something like that could potentially last quite a while. Imagine if it had been a case where they wanted to build another Area 51 on the guy's land where they planned Top Secret activities involving crashed UFO spacecrafts and aliens. Now THAT would be a BIG eminent domain case! Since both me and my GF were called last year, we're hoping that neither of us will be called again for a LONG time - if at all. Because WA has no age limit for jury duty, we both still have decades more opportunities to be called again. I know people who've never been called at all during their lives, and I've known people who've been called over and over again. My neighbor is in his late 30s, and he's never been called once, but his wife who's about 30 or so, has been called 4 of 5 times already. Jeez! I was 37 when I was first called. Perhaps they think that women make better jurors than men. One of my (female) co-workers gets called EVERY SINGLE YEAR. She's very tired of it. They keep telling us that it's a completely random process, but I don't believe them. Come on, look how uneven it is. I don't believe in coincidences, certainly not with this.
I’m glad you enjoy them my friend. As for including more in the individual takeoff and landings. Probably not. I get the appeal, but the main point of those is that there are a lot of more casual viewers that those really cater to because they don’t have to sift through all that extra stuff. That said, that’s why I try to make the full flights as easy to navigate as possible. With chapters and very informative descriptions l. It hopefully makes it easy for everyone to skip right to the part they want to see. If that all makes sense.
I can’t believe your close to 100,000 subscribers it’s crazy you started the channel a long time back like 8 years ago and you never thought you would be able to hit 100,000 subscribers congrats on your 8 year or almost 9 year anniversary of your UA-cam career
Yea it’s amazing…and to be honest he deserves a lot more than 100k subscribers. I just wish UA-cam would recommend more people his vids because this is the best aviation channel I’ve come across.
I don't think many people realize just how much it will mean to me when that number hits 100,000. I started this whole thing on a whim, and to be honest I really never had any expectations when I started it. I've said it many times before, but I almost marked all of my original videos as private, but I decided that if other people wanted to watch them, then why not let them. I remember being so amazed when the channel hit 1,000 subscribers. Which took over a year BTW. I don't even think I'd changed the name of the channel to SP yet. I think it was still just my name back then, because again, I didn't really have any expectations or goals I was working towards. I was really just using UA-cam to store all of my HD video because there was no storage limit haha. Fast forward to today and a lot has changed, but what hasn't changed is that I've been staring at that subscriber number for 8.5 years now. And after I realized that people did want this kind of content my goal has been to get 100,000 subscribers. I would be lying if I said I didn't want that Silver Play Button. The channel has been through a lot of milestones over the years, but none will be as big as hitting 100,000 subs! And I thank every one of you who has hit that subscribe button!
@@sla31I mean there’s a lot of big UA-camrs out there that pretty much all of them doesn’t do plane takeoff’s landings and full flights content I mean you’re still my favorite but once again congrats on your almost 9 year anniversary on UA-cam
@@sla31 You deserved to get a Silver Play Button no matter what. I never stop watching your channel no matter what content you make. I have seen a lot of UA-camrs quit their making video in the past few months ago. I hope you don't quit on UA-cam. Me and others will be sad if you quit on UA-cam.
Hi bryce, on saturday i went to the flight park. If you don't know what The Flight Park is, is the park that's on the Luis Muñoz Marin Airport here in San Juan PR.
Great fly and first! Have you heard JetBlue and Spirit abandoned their plan to merge and JetBlue must pay $69 million as required for termination agreement and Spirit lost about $184 million on the fourth quarter?
Beautiful!
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…SLC landings are one of the most underrated ever.

We've had a really mild winter here. So, for once, I'm not ready for the heat to return haha.

@@sla31 Any time my friend. Like i told you, i do enjoy aviation, since i am totally blind, but it's in the experience.
Love your channel. Find it really relaxing. Would you ever consider adding the pushback and taxi to your take off only vids? Very ASMR

Has anyone noticed that the spoilers are slightly deployed.? For cruise, they should be completely flushed with the rest of the wing
do you have to pushback from this video?
or a full flight verson

Yes, I saw that. Now if JetBlue and American can restart their Northeast alliance, that'd be great haha.
