Belllissime auto ! Fra il 1930 e il 1940 ci fu una evoluzione strordinaria delle carrozzerie. Una transizione che praticamente ogni anno trova delle modifiche graduali ma anche rivoluzionarie con i parafanghi non più applicati e i fanali sopra ma incorporati entrambi ! Poi idem successivamente, ancora di più negli anni 50 tanto che si considera la tal vettura del tal anno, eccetera ! Oggi purtroppo vetture senza anima e troppa elettronica e digitalizzazione !
With drum brakes you don't need a servo. That's what set the time of introduction of disk brakes - the much higher force required was unacceptable until manufacturers figured out how to make a cheap and reliable vacuum booster.
Cierto modelo de Chevrolet 1937 te traía suspensión independiente delantera hidráulica, por si ésta casi irrompible, no te sirve. Y los Ford no tenían freno hidráulicos. Pero el Chevrolet, aunque traía válvulas en la culata, tapa de cilindros, la lubricación de las bielas era por salpique, cucharitas. Slu3🇺🇾

Plymouth was the go-to taxi in its' day, except in cities like NYC that set special requirements that couldn't be met by an off-the-shelf sedan.
Makes me want to go out and buy an all new 1937 Plymouth! I imagine that many movie theaters played this advertising to great effect.
