I also have 3 new fw3xs just sitting waiting to be swapped. It looks like there is a sealing layer over the die, as opposed to it being completely exposed to air with the dome gone. Is this true? Very good if true. Thanks.
I have a wurkkos ts 21 and I did this on the LED, but now the flashlight works and the LEDs do not light up. I don't understand why I only did it with my fingernail.

is any reflow solder okay or does it need to be high temp solder?
i guess i can reflow it in an hot pan or so.. dont wanna buy all the Equipment
