My Houston Nephew says that, being a Texan, he has never actually seen or drunk wine - “that fancy stuff is illegal in most counties” of the Republic of Texas; whereas guns and ammo are FREE! - but he thinks you might be on to something here. He will try it with beer, which is available everywhere, he says.
The best butcher in the world 'dario cecchini' would be furiated when hearing chianti being called Spanish wine. Lovely video, but when you love the good things in life you can't mistaken your wines
okay you have been corrected enough on the Chianti is Spanish, but calling Chianti sangria... i think you have been wine tasting a bit too much before the video lol
Chianti isn't Spanish Roel, it comes from Italy. Machego _is_ Spanish, should have used a nice bottle of Rioja Vega Crianza. 😄Great recipe, I braise beef in red wine often in Winter.
That looks incredibly delicious and the individual components are such amazing quality! Wasn't that Italian Chianti rather than "Spanish wine'" or sangria...?
Don't forget. Don't ever give this to your dog. Everything grape related is deadly for most dogs, especially wine and raisins. It looks great btw I think boiling in the 🍷 marinade after it has done its job and add a bit of butter to make the sause would finish it.
Euh… Chianti comes from Italy 😮
I was going to make the same comment 😅
But a Spanish vineyard
The recipe looks amazing! Awesome for some winter barbeques! Although I am pretty sure Chianti (Classico) is from Italy, and not spain 😀
I've heard that Chianti pairs well with liver too.
Don't forget the fava beans!
Manchego cheese is great. You have sausage, the cheese and a nicely marinated picanha. Looks like a great combination. Cheers, Roel! 👍🏻👍🏻✌️

Ehhh … at 1:28 “add a bottel of spanish wine”… you used a chianti from Italy 😉
Ahh but Spanish grown. We have French vines grapes here in Nz that do come out v very similar
I just finished making braised beef with a bottle of red wine. Looks good though.

Other than that.. Excellent cook right there with that picaña!
That’s a beautiful piece of meat! Top work, mate. Cheers.
Hey Roel that picanha steak looks really good I'm gone try this one for sure 👍
Does it mean that a cheap wine and cheap meat will get a goog result, because it matches? 😂
chicken liver and intestines tasty for me Sir
Sangria ?
Nice idea!
Awesome!
Other than picanha, what other meats would be good with this method?
See also 'Chicken'...the dish is called "Coq au Vin" in Spanish. Use an Italian wine, though.
Try something with cold smoked cheese mister x
What cut of beef is equivalent to picanha in the United States?
That would be the Top Sirloin Cap.
Thank you.@@calgy84
