Tom don’t disappoint when it comes to the movies. Does his own stunts and everything. Gotta watch The Last Samurai, Both Top Guns and the Mission Impossible series. He’s one of the last superstar blockbuster actors we got left.
Great reaction, Major! This movie was so underrated when it came out. If you're looking for another great Tom Cruise sci-fi action movie, I'd recommend putting Minority Report on a poll. Thanks for sharing with us!

Great Tom Cruise watches: Top Gun, Mission Impossible (all of them!), Minority Report, The Last Samurai (highly recommended) and Collateral.
BTW, you have watched Tom Cruise before (or at least one he was in) - Tropic Thunder.
Also if you want another good Tom Cruise Sci-fi, watch Oblivion!
And kind of a shame how few reactions there are to it.

I love Tom Cruise in The Last Samurai, as well as Ken Watanabe and others. And I'm not a huge T.C. fan but there is no denying he's very good at what he does. He and Emily Blunt both are awesome in this movie.

"Groundhog Day " on steroids. This is in my top 10 films of all time, action packed with the best ending of all time. This movie turned me into a Tom Cruise fan.

A question many have is about the ending, why did Cage reset to the day he arrived for the meeting with the general? Answer I found online is this; The Omega has the ability to reset a 24 hour day. So, all the previous resets Cage had was from after the invasion. When Cage, Rita, and J-squad go after the Omega it's BEFORE the attack so the final reset is 24 hours from the point of it's destruction. That puts the time early morning of the previous day when Cage was just arriving to meet with the General. Cage was able to reset the final time due to getting covered in the blue blood a split second before the Omega is completely dead. Best theory I've seen that explains the ending.
The major is played by the same actor who played Mad Eye Moody in the Harry Potter franchise.

Both Top Guns-Takes Jet Flying & Fighting to a whole new level. Sequel is Cruise’s highest money making film & one of the best sequels in film history.
I think Rain Man will probably be your favourite Tom Cruise movie
Rain Man, Eyes Wide Shut, A Few Good Men, Interview with a Vampire and The Last Samurai are his best works in my opinion, 10/10 bangers. This is going be fire and I hope you add these to the list!!!

Tropic Thunder, worth seeing him.
Major, you have seen a Tom Cruise movie...well, Tom Cruise was in it, the film is "Tropic Thunder". Tom Cruise wasn't the lead and was kinda unrecognizable in the role.
If you want to see a great Tom Cruise movie one of my favorites is "Collateral" also starring Jaime Foxx. (action, crime drama).
Tom Cruise is the hardest, working guy in the movies, and he has a bunch you need to see. I really hope you do a lot of his movies, because you will not be disappointed 👍

Tom Cruise is movie Gold, he's a solid actor,I'm not sure he's ever been in a bad film..last samurai being my favorite of his which is probably one of the most underrated films of the last 2 decades... luckily it's reputation has grown Abit in the last few years.
Edge of tomorrow is a great little film
Tom is truly a great actor and a true movie star. He just has charisma on the screen in addition to talent. If you watch his older stuff you see he really is doing a lot of great character work in some solid dramatic films but he moved into more action oriented roles in the later 90s and kills it. The Mission Impossible series (minus #2) are an awesome ride.
Did you work out where you've seen Rita's science assistant before? That was Noah Taylor, aka Locke, the guy who chopped off Jaime Lannister's hand.

I would list a few Tom Cruise movies, some of which I see others suggesting. The ones I think are really must see are this one...check, as well as the original Top Gun, Valkyrie, Tropic Thunder, The Last Samurai, Taps, Rain Man, Days of Thunder, Jerry Maguire, and Minority Report. Tom Cruise has been in a lot of great movies, and I am sure some folks would add even more to my list.

I was never a big fan of Tom Cruise either, but this is the movie that made me re-evaluate that. This one and Oblivion (2013), which is also sci-fi. Then I went back and watched some older Tom Cruise movies, like The Last Samurai and The Firm, and appreciated them a lot more. I bought this movie for my boyfriend when it came out on dvd and he watched it for like two months straight. Neither of us ever got tired of it.
I see the movie Lucy with Scarlett Johansson was on deck for you there. That movie is absolutely f**king amazing. It's sci-fi, too, and it blew me away. I very highly recommend it.

I don't like Tom Cruise either but for some reason I liked him in The Mummy and can't remember the name of the movie but the one with aliens maybe war of the world. Been awhile but I think that's it

1:01 Tom Cruise is a very talented dramatic actor. His acting in movies like The Firm and A Few Good Men.
That said for the last decade or so he has rebranded himself as the go to action guy. I really hope after this last Mission Impossible movie he returns to simple drama.

Used to feel the same you do about him but I actually used to watch most Cruise movies as they came out. I changed my mind after seeing him in Tropic Thunder, Jack Reacher, Oblivion and Edge of Tomorrow in a row. I was definitely a fan again after that. And I don't know if you ever watch Popcorn in Bed reactions but Tom Cruise and the director of MI, Christopher McQuarrie saw their reactions to MI and they were invited to the premiere of MI7 and got to talk to them on the ted carpet. It was so awesome. They are such great people and Tom is just the coolest. You should give the interview or videos a watch.

American made is an absolutely fantastic Tom cruise movie.
I picked up on Mission:Impossible (from part 3) after seeing this film. I slowly realized Cruise is sleeper action star - probably one of the last ones from the ‘80s still getting physical in his role! If recommend the Mission:Impossible franchise it’s a fun rabbithole!

It's underrated but Oblivion (2013) is a great Tom Cruise movie with Morgan Freeman.
Not sure what you've seen already but for tv shows Breaking Bad, Walking Dead, Lost, Deadwood, Agents of Shield would be a few that u might like and would get alot of views.

I dont care much about Tom Cruise person life and religion, but I do like all of his movies, he puts every ounce of himself into his acting. from the very beginning, movies like Risky Business, to all his current movies, Top Gun Maverick.
My top picks would be: A Few Good Men, Jerry Maguire, Last Samurai, Oblivion, Minority Report and Rain Man, then the sequel movies, Mission Impossible, Jack Reacher. So many more, to many to list, like I said, all of his movies.

Tome Cruise has a strange reputation because there was some kind of organized smear campaign that happened in the early 2000s. Not sure why but it was clearly organized and effective. As an actor he's great and he picks great movies to be in. He does all his own stunts too.

Watch Tom Cruise out-act Leo Dicaprio, Robert DiNiro, and Al Pachino in one of his first big war films, Born on the Fourth of July. It's my favorite performance of his. He's just as good an actor as his peers, he just began enjoying doing tentpole action films like this one because it allowed him to perform his own dangerous stunts unlike the other actors mentioned, including Denzel Washington. He does all his own stunts like falling off a high rise building in Mission Impossible or complex car stunts with crashes and high speed chases where it's entirely possible for his life to become forfeit. Give Tom his flowers, my guy. Show some respect. The only other actor to outearn Tom Cruise at the box office is your favorite and mine too. You know who it is, fam. Of course it could only be the one, the only, Sam "Motha Fxxing" Jackson himself. The GOAT!
