I have a perfect driving record, with no collisions at all. I have driven through the Nevada desert, and literally the only thing you have to fear is the damn police that are running their little extortion racket by having the speed limit, in the middle of nowhere, set at 55mph.
@spanky8477 I was refering to the performance rather then the practically of them, also 50k for a GTR sounds like a bit of an exaggeration my brother baught his R32 GTR last year from japan and it cost him all up 18k to have the car legal and roadworthy with compliances completed in Australia, the GTR was in near perfect condition. The car has now had close to 30k put into in and is running at 350kw at all four wheels with mid boost.
@spanky8477 Well I agree with the fact that they are two completly different cars with different purposes, I've never actually driven a ve ss myself but I have driven both R32 GTR's and VE Sv6's and the VE is better comfort and driveability wise but the GTR dominates performance wise, they have both got their positives and negatives but I guess it all come downs to what suits your needs. Oh and Btw, if the SS drinks anywhere close to as much petrol as the Sv6 I highly doubt it uses less fuel

no really, ok a turbo just pushes air through the motor faster and yes it puts out good performance but it doesnt have any low end torque, your right they are heavy'er but still compare the two when driving, ive had a r34 gtr and it went like a rocket but didnt have any torque, i got over it, but you have a point, the problem with turbos they have lots of problems because it makes the motor run alot hotter, i had alot of problems with turbo lag because of cracked air pipes e.t.c its alot of work
you have just asked for that before you start cursing and i will tell you. its a road were no people have used it for long time just like route 66 in the US
i have had mine to 284. not stock tho. i think that the bee sting aerial was a bit of a cheap installment tho. they should have known it was gonna flap out on the roof

They go a lot faster than this on public roads in Germany where lots of other cars are driving. The road where this was done had nobody on it in the middle of the night.

Ok, you seem like a reasonable bloke so I believe you, it just frustrates me when I see things like this on a public road as it just shows a complete lack of care for other road users. Maybe you were doing it in a safe area, as I say you don't seem to be a complete tosser so I take that back.
