So sweet! I will remember these tips. I used to take the baby I nannied and sit down to play with him on my lap and I would always show him middle C. :)
So previous. I remember a possibly two year old always going to a piano in the Sunday school classroom and started to tap the keys while her sister ( not musically learned) played chop sticks with her. Today, this girl is the church pianist.
I do something similar to what you do, except I teach them that the Black Keys are in groups of twos and groups of threes. Then when I teach them the names I start with D because I tell them that D is in between the two black keys.the funny thing is that my younger students learn a lot easier than some of my older ones.
I teach little ones as young as four how to play the piano. The course I use has friends named Beethoven Bear and Mozart Mouse help us along the way. They also have a bunch of buddies who are named after famous composers. One day as one of my students was doing her theory with me, I was playing something from Mozart. Then I pulled out a picture of him and showed it to her. Without stopping what she was doing, she glanced up, looked at the picture, and said, “He’s not a mouse!” I couldn’t stop laughing. I don’t think she got the part that they were named after composers.😂
@@NatalieRaynesMusic I love this! Thanks for sharing 😊 I wish I would've known these tips when my children were that little. They are now young adults so a little too old for them now 😁
@@NatalieRaynesMusicThey probably have no idea of your usual content! 😊 It's a bit hard to record without a device! 😂 Glad to see she is interested in playing, I am sure she will do very well with you teaching her.😊 I was disappointed that not all of my children wanted to learn instruments as I come from a very musical family. Hope you are all well.😊 God bless.
Wow! So precious. Another star in the making. God bless you and your angel ❤

Бедная девочка, ещё не знает через какие муки ей надо пройти
Great that you are starting but lose the phone
What in the world. I shared it to encourage others with small kids- some practical ways to introduce music to them! 💙
Good job Natalie

The little girl seemed more interested in the phone than the piano.
