hey, I know you'll never see this, but I wanted to write something for you. I am a trans girl with CPTSD and traumatic brain injuries -- my childhood puts some horror movies to shame, and most people don't believe me. I was homeless for over a year (2023-2024), and my life has gone to shit. I've lost everyone and everything.
Your music -- I found you back when you used Sewerslut -- has done some heavy lifting for me emotionally. I listened to Light at the End of the Tunnel over and over to pull me out of the suicide spirals when I was homeless, and I would just cry and cry, fighting through the drowning psychosis, hoping so desperately that things would get better. They eventually did (though things aren't great).
Your music and art is brave and raw, unapologetically honest and scathing. You are a huge inspiration for me and my own art, and I'm genuinely happy to see you around and still kicking after your hiatus. Thank you for having the courage to make and publish your works, because you gave my miserable fucking existence a voice.
I hope you're doing well, and you mean more to this stranger than you know.
