So Wonderful Rick. Some Holst trivia : Holst personally felt that "Saturn" was his favourite piece in The Planets, rather than a more popular piece like "Mars, the Bringer of War", "Venus, the Bringer of Peace" or "Jupiter, the Bringer of Jollity". Further, Holst felt that The Planets was not his favourite work of his. Towards the end of his life, Holst grew to be disillusioned with the popularity of The Planets as he felt it overshadowed his other work, which he felt superseded The Planets. His distaste for the suite got to the point that when Pluto was discovered in 1930, he outright refused to write any music for it

Grew up listening to this album as a very small child every day along with The Knights Of The Round Table record and progressed to Vangelis and then emotional trance ❤️🙌🏻

Great job! Recently picked up ELPowell's official live concert and Sprocket Studio's release. 2 GREAT cd's and Great versions of this piece of music. Prior to that purchase, I picked up King Crimson In the Wake of Poseidon With their version of Mars. Btw, Greg Lake, though out of the band by then, is featured on all the tracks except one.
