Thanks for this tutorial. Others have suggested using the Hue and Saturation tool to fix this problem, but that didn't work for me after hours of trying. Your elegant and simple solution did the trick. I'm glad I found your channel.
Thank you, Aaron, that was cool and it's something a lot of us would have struggled with. I also enjoy these short tutorial more than the longer ones, might have something to do with my attention span.
Aaron, this is the best tutorial I've seen about removing edge fringe, and you're the first person to explain the purpose of a clipping mask. Thank you!
oh my god thank you SO MUCH!!! for the past 3 months i’ve been using the eraser tool to erase every bit of fringing around every individual hair and you just saved me from ever doing that again!!!
After many experiments with hair recolouring, I eventually got to a similar technique, but mine was so convoluted ! This is much, much simpler. Perfect precise tutorial.
Great and easy tip thanks Aaron - you keep knocking it out the park! One thing I think we could have done with, is a close-up of the results of the last clipping mask as compared to the Hue one, the final result looked great but even on full screen monitor it wasn't visually clear what difference that last layer made, though appreciate the theory and overall result.
Big fan of your channel and long time subscriber. Learned so much from you and every time I open any video I find something new! Thank you for putting this amazing content together!
That's a really good tip to know thanks You have a great UA-cam channel with all your Photoshop tips, I have learnt a few things from watching your tips and ideas.
Excellent coverage of “life on the fringe” (sorry, couldn’t help it). Pop up tips add to the tutorial. The plants look so real. Clear explanation of clipping, as well. Never disappointed in your vids.
Aaron, i totally love your videos. You're such an amazing teacher! Watching your tutorials is always a pleasure for me! Thank you for all your effort! Love this channel!
Aaron...love your tutorials, and thanks for them. I know this vid is older, but one thing I noted was that while your layers blend mode is set to Hue, your brush tool is set to Overlay. Any specific reason for that?
You were right on when you said "This is HUGE." Thanks again!
Very helpful video thanks
Always a pleasure to learn from you, thank you so much Aaron!
Thank you for the help! Content starts at about 2:40
