This is so crazy man. I really love your videos and missed the long break you had form UA-cam.
People don't understand that optical silvers are just as good as the yellows. The optical silver option uses a 45g force that is so much better than the yellows that use 35g force. The yellows will bring accidental keypresses while the silvers are just as fast but smoother and can be used more effectively.... Just get silvers. They are the exact same speed. Not to mention , the silvers legit sound so nice.

Is this keyboard better than the apex pro? And how master faster are these switches than omnipoints?
There is a keyboard faster than the GK61, Apex pro, Huntsman, and all of that.
It is call the Keychron K3 with optical white switches.
It has 30g actuation force which is light af but who cares about that. The switches have almost no travel distance at 2.5mm, while the previous king was the gk61, at 3.5mm travel.
The actuation is at 1.1 out of 2.5mm, and 0.2ms latency which is ultra fast.
This keyboard is in preorder right now. You should look into this.

Do you think this keyboard would be better than the Apex Pro? Honestly I chose the Apex Pro over this one because overall the Apex Pro feels more high quality to me.

this is the feel of the yellow switches with 1.0mm pre-travel and 35g force (vs 45-50), not the optical part. changing to an equivalent non-optical switch would be the same, anything else is placebo. arguably the mouse buttons are just as important but they're Omron mechanical switches anyway. you can repeat click them probably < 4ms depending on debounce settings. just saying there's no reason to replace a perfectly good keyboard and waste money unless you just wanted new low actuation switches.

You can buy different parts and use faster switches (kaihl speed is faster) for the same price
hey exalted great game sense but i saw that u were making a really big mistake and it was going for piece control when it was unnecessary, sometimes you have yo get a first hit on the enemy than you try and piece control them while they try to get defensive and catch the opponent off guard, i saw you were taking a lot of damage trying to piece control before getting a first shot. i think this can help you! btw great vids keep up the good work❤️

@@Skulldrot in fact, whether the switches are fast or not it doesn't really matter. Speed switches don't make you edit faster. I mean, maybe a little, but not so much that you can feel it very much. you can be just as fast on regular "slow" switches as you can on "fast" switches. I hope I helped :)
@@egxsyy I’m on a ducky one 2 SF Blue cherry MX switches atm but apperently those are one of the slowest switches there are and compared to the gateron yellows it’s really slow I think. I might switch to the GK61 just because it might make me a bit faster but I get your point :) Thank you 🙏🏽

Cherry mc browns are hated on in the mech community because of how mushy they are. IMO they aren’t that good. Also the optical yellows are mechanical.

all switches in the gk61 are optical there are yellow mech switches but these ones are optical
@@ceementality Gateron optical switches in the gk61 are still mechanical. The switches block a beam of light transmitted on the pcb. On regular mechanical switches (cherry mx, kailh, novelkeys, outemu, etc...) they short a small wire when the switch is actuated. However, optical and conventional switches are still considered mechanical, the optical switches are built very similarly to conventional switches. The 4 main types of switches are Membrane (rubber dome), Mechanical, Topre, and Analog. Optical switches fall into the mechanical category.
