I'm watching all of these split pea soup recipe videos today. I haven't run into any that add milk or cream to the recipe. My gramma always added some evaporated milk which makes the soup much richer. I'm sure your soup is excellent but I thought I would throw this out there to you to try. Let me know if you ever do it! Looks good..and easy.. it’s a cold rainy day here in the hi desert Calif. Got left over ham bone and a couple slices from thanksgiving so gonna give this a try.. Don’t have a smoked ham hock or shank so gonna use a piece of smoked turkey instead..😻👀👀🤓🤓

Dhickec stock would give it a better tasting than just the plain water etc
