Watertown: another beautiful city, especially on the south side. We last met NY-12 just north of Binghamton where I think it began, so it’s interesting to have this little reunion with NY-12 after its eastern loop through Utica. Now it’s crossed over and will shortly end on the west side of US 11! It, too, narrowly misses the Adirondack Mountains!
In Thurston County, Washington there is a 'Black River' it flows in two directions one direction flows into Black Lake, the southern flows toward Lewis County.
We've encountered a number of Black Rivers around the country. At one time, I thought river names were unique, since we live on the Mississippi River, and there's only one of those. But later, I found out there's even two Colorado Rivers! The flowing in two directions seems unique though.
No. On this trip we had a Civic Si. We traded it in for a Type R a few weeks after we got back from this trip. So our recent Florida bonus videos have been in the Type R.
@@504RoadTrips how severe is the ride difference between the two cars? I've seen videos of influencers saying the Type R's ride is harsh...I'm curio about the 2 cars.
@@cicada9471 The Type R definitely has a harsher ride. If you set the suspension to Comfort, it's not too bad. But compared to the Si, which was a nice cruiser, and great for long trips, the Type R is very uncomfortable. A lot probably has to do with lack of padding in the racing seats. Both cars pick up a LOT of road noise through the tires.
@@504RoadTrips thanks sir! That's what I needed to know. I was thinking about getting a Jetta GLI but I'm at the age (60) where it is difficult to get in and out of a car.
Nice ride. Glad you have out of state tags people show more curtesy
Nice ride through Watertown NY
G'Day Kari and Jason.Looks like on the day of filming , Watertown lived up to its name. btw. Another great video as I'm following your journey.

As you approach the Public Square area, it looks like Downtown Lockport, in the area near the Old Post Office and library.
Getting closer to the finale of us 11

Looks like the front has passed through, since it stopped raining.
@@PelicanGuy yeah…no. We’d get ahead of it and it would catch up the entire day.
Home to Fort Drum
The vehicle you're driving, is it a Civic Type R?

@@cicada9471 That's getting to be a problem for me too, although it wasn't much better with the Si.
