My love for books came from my punishments of not being able to watch tv. I eventually told my mom I didn't want a tv in my room. I like how you set up your tracker. I need to do the same thing.
Very nice spread👍🏽. You gave me some great ideas on how to use my Bookworm PET tape & sticker book. I too am a book lover. I remember happy times waiting for the bookmobile (I’m telling my age😁). I love that books allowed me to travel anywhere I wanted to go. To this day, I can converse on many different topics because of the variety of books I have read. My Mother would sometimes make me go outside and get some exercise because if not, I’d stay in bed all day and read📚📖❤
I was 100% the kid whose parents told them to put the book down and go play outside. Grounding me did nothing unless my parents also took away the book I was reading. :) I don't currently have a book tracker, but I've thought about doing one for a while.
I remembered that my mom wants me to watch the news with her but I told her that I don’t want to watch the news because it’s distracting. I rather to read a book because book is my new channel and I can learn more about characters and everything in the book.
Very nice. I was back then and now will read a book over before I turn on the tv.
