Why green day has more liberal lyrics, while this band is more conservative lyrics? Unless they putting political view behind them, for the sake of music.
I apologize if i come across as sounding sexist but with the exception of F-Minus, Horrorpops etc...i don't normally like female fronted punk bands. These guys however have made a fantastic record, had this on repeat for hours.

I don't consider it a "put down." It was an observation, a comparison, and an opinion. The song simply reminded me of early Joan Jett-era material, with a slightly different sound to the vocals. I liked the song as heard in the commercial (which I honestly thought was for AT&T, so that marketing ploy worked well), and I am happy that I was able to hear the full version. It's okay, I will probably put on my download list, but I'm in no hurry right now. I, too, will never get people and have stopped trying to, because all I get from it anymore is a headache, lol! I saw Rancid in January and The Interrupters opened for them, They are a great band to see live (so much energy its a fucking blast XD) and I will be seeing them again, hopefully not JUST opening.so if you're a fan or new in discovery, they are worth seeing and I hope they get the attention they deserve.

Listen to “Babylon” it’s all about political power and how they are causing the very issues they claim they are going to fix. It’s worth looking into and considering. Hilary wasn’t cheated, she cheated and it didn’t pay off.
If you watched the documentary you must have seen the very glazed over scene where Bill passed laws that caused prisons and jails to be overflowing with inmates. And they referred to the criminals being charged as “super predators”. Then they benefited financially from those prisons. It’s all full circle.

It talks about fighting the power without saying what that power is, leaving people to fill in the void with whatever they decide is the enemy, even if that enemy is fighting their oppressor. It sure makes you wanna buy a cell phone, though!
