Hi there James. Blimey that’s a fair old hike for two peaks. That’s the difference between Scotland and the Lake District. In 18 miles and 10 hours like we did the other week I bagged 10 wainwrights! Haha Cracking video as always mate, all the best, Dave 😃⛰🥾
When I first did these hills back in 1980 at the very beginning of my own Munro journey, I was still under the impression that Càrn Cloich-mhuillin was still a Munro and I dropped down off Bhrotain to bag it. I had camped on the plateau above Feshie and had enjoyed a 3 day cloud inversion where it was super blue skies all around. The great moss is an amazing place, foreboding in winter with its featureless terrain, and a favourite area for testing winter navigation skills. That was an impressive walk out to bag the two hills, so thanks for sharing!
Done these 2 a few years back and not really on my memorable list. weather was decent but I'm not a fan of long hikes where you return the same route. Great footage as always.
Nice to bag those two 👍218👏 My last two in the cairngorms , but I keep puting those two off and always end up somewhere else 😅 Well seeing it was your plan B 😅
Thanks Jim, I have actually already done Seana Bhraigh, one of my first videos! No where near the quality of todays videos 😂 I done it from Oykel Bridge.. one of my favourite days so far.. cheers, James
Great to see those hills again mate! I did those 2 along with braeriach, angels peak, cairn toul and devils point from Linn of dee! Absolutely shattered when I got back to the car🥵🤣
A big day James! You cant help but smiling when you're out in the cairngorms! I did these two with Frank on a very warm day from Linn of Dee and ended up in the water!, . Your getting there mate! Well done. Paul
I did these two from a camp spot near the Geldie Lodge after an epic evening cycle in from Linn of Dee - the first time I'd ever used a moutain bike off-road! The walk was almost half the length of yours, but much of it was pathless and through heather. I remember the fantastic views at the summit of Bhrotain.

That’s pretty wild and remote, definitely best saved for a day of good visibility.
Definitely, would feel even longer in mist/clag 😂
Many many thanks James lovely video and quite a hike.

Did the same route yesterday. Hard going in cloud with only map and compass,, Erie too. Enjoyed your video, great views (which I missed 😂)
That would be a tough route in the cloud 😂 nice challenge though.. Cheers, James

What software do you use to edit your longer videos and reels? Keep it up pal!
I use Adobe Premier Pro for pretty much everything these days 😁 Cheers, James

Awesome effort James. Do you think you can cycle most of the way in?
