Thanks Poppy!! It's an amazing island. You won't be disappointed. There's way more to see than what's in this vid, like the Melassani underground lake and the Drogorati caves. Seen those places on previous visits, but they were very busy when we last went to Kefalonia during the UK school holidays.

Hey, me and the mrs are heading to Kefalonia next month. Is skala good for bars/restaurants in the evenings? Also would mind sharing your itinerary if you remember? The places looks awesome that youve shown, great footage 😊
Thanks. Yeah, there’s loads of bars and restaurants to choose from. I can’t remember the name of most of the ones we visited, but the fish restaurant was the Sunrise Restaurant, which is at the far end of the beach. The places we visited in the the vid were: Karavomylos Fiskardo Myrtos beach Assos St George’s Castle Katelios Saint Theodore lighthouse But there are way more places that we didn’t cover on this trip, like the Melissani lake and the Drogarati caves which are must do’s. It’s also good to visit the capital, Argostoli. Hope that helps and have an amazing holiday. Kefalonia is one of my top places on the planet to visit 👍🏻
Will in Skala for my 10th visit next month and this video always gets me in the mood. Where’s that bar and how do you get to it 4 mins in? Is that at Kaminia Beach?
Hi Seaeagle11 it's the Sesto Koroni Hill Bar, about 23 mins from Skala by car. You head past Katelios and head toward Lourdata. It's then off to the left at a small village. Be careful though the road is pretty bumpy on the way in and out for a fair distance. Enjoy....Soooo jealous!!!

Tbh, this is about the 10th time I’d been to the island as I love it THAT much, but I did miss quite a bit, like the Drogarati caves & Melissani lake, which I’ve visited multiple times before. On this visit they were heaving with tourists. Would’ve loved to capture more, but just run out of time…..maybe next time 😜

It’s a lovely place. Plenty of great bars an restaurants to visit. Not too far from the airport too

What camera?
It was nearly all shot using a GoPro hero 7, with a gimbal, & a DJI Mavic Air. Just a few shots at the beginning we’re done using a Sony A7s
