The LNER W1. An experimental locomotive. Using the 4-6-4 wheel arrangement. Looks verry bulbous looking locomotive due to it having a ship inspired boiler instead of a conventional boiler, running at much higher pressures. Due to disappointing results, it got a conventional boiler and got a normal working life. Nickname "Hush-Hush" was obtained due to the secrecy surrounding the engine in its early days.
