I just watched this again 2 years later, all the while thinking I wish I lived in your world. the pleasure i get from all that twinkly stuff you made was wonderful
I like the way you put the glitter pieces on the mold. Then they are just on the outside. It takes a little time but it saves on glitter. Makes your glitter last a long time.
I have made many beautiful Domino pendants and have had no luck with the UV resin, but when I used Epoxy resin...lordy, lordy! They are stunning! Thank you for this tutorial, Sandra, I appreciate it. Much love to all. ♥️
I love this, so beautiful, and ready made resins, no sticky mixing and air bubbles, plus is love to make moulds, the possibilities are endless. thank you so so much ❤️ loving your work sweetie 💕
wow those shells are so pretty. imagine if you own a whole set of dominoes like that first one, youd have to have enough to make 28 of them. what a special gift that woul be.
I like all your works.😘🧡💛💚❤ Especially, Sora with silver paint marker and the first transparent and colorful Sora stole my heart. At the end, the key ring and necklace using the two shapes of the dice seem to have an unusual. I think I'm going to have a good day because I saw a good work. Thank you.
LOVELY! I'm about to embark on some mold making myself soon as the weather stabilizes. I adore your little shells. I'm not a dominos fan, but I've never seen any cuter ones than these. Thank you!
everything is awesomeness gone wild!! those shell necklaces are lovely but I would love to play a game with those colorfully sparkly dominoes and since YOU made them, I KNOW WHO THE WINNER WOULD BE!! MEEEEE LOL
They are pretty. The sea shell molds came out interesting. I wish I had the domino mold. I bought one, not from lets resin, and it came dirty and used. I sent it back. Sort of afraid to order it again. Yours are really pretty.
I literally WAIT for your videos all week long... but I keep forgetting to ask, what do you use to clean the UV resin of of the paintbrush so it doesn't harden and ruin the brush? Your creativity inspires me all the time! :)
Thanks!!😊 You can use acetone or nail polish remover to clean your brushes. I have a brush with a cap that I got on one of my Sophie and Toffee Elves boxes. I reserved it only for UV resin and I don’t clean it since I started using it. The cap prevents the brush from receiving light and it doesn’t harden ;)
I love your content and these are so pretty. Do you recommend any particular UV resin for using in molds, I feel like I'm doing something wrong as they don't come out as well as your does. Many thanks x
Thank you Lynn!😊 For bigger molds I recommend you to use weaker uv light. That way the uv resin will cure slowly and will not be deformed. It can take more time but the pieces will come out perfect! If you feel that the resin isn’t curing well using a weaker uv lamp you can use a stronger one in the end just to complete the curing process. I hope that this tip can help! It works for all the resins I’ve been working with on my videos :) If the mold is really big then it’s a lot better to use epoxy resin ;)
Lovely and your moulds seem to work fine with uv resin! I recently tried to make my own moulds from things I'd made from Fimo. The moulds never hardened so I tossed my silicone mouldmaker thinking it was too old. Turned out certain types of mouldmakers can't harden when the thing you make a mould off is glaced with uv resin...
It’s not the first time I work with Let’s Resin silicone mold maker and I love it! It works perfectly with UV resin even the most opaque mold I made. But yes, certain silicones react badly with polymer clay pieces or even with resin ones... and never cure properly...
Not sure if this was the issue but platinum silicones won't cure when the master (the object you are trying to make a mold of) is made of clay that contains sulfur. You could use a tin silicone instead or clean your master with alcohol after baking it and seal it with a few coats something so the clay itself won't touch the silicone. Hope this helps either you or someone who stumbles across this comment. :)
@@TheLadyBray this is a huge help!! My very first mould didnt cure properly. I used some crayola air dry mold to make a 2 part mold and let the first half set overnight it was all gooey and runny where it contacted the clay and my master was a breyer stablemate figure unpainted. Im not sure what they are made of but I figured I could make a mould of something plastic? Any idea if thats true? So I just bought this Lets resin mould maker. I have a Large conch Shell I want to replicate next however its going to require a good amount of silicone. I am still just starting out. I should probably play with the easier stuff first! The UV looks so easy! I was watching tutorials on Smooth-On. They are pros for movies etc. I have so many questions. Is 2 part resin stronger? From now on I will use oil based no drying clays for sure! Hey thats how we learn as artists! From our mistakes! Thank you great video! I have a small conk shell I want to try this with! Im ordering UV resin now and a light!
I´m really jealous of all of you people who do resin and have sponsors and all... i would like to do this cute things too, but I´m sick and i can´t work because in Spain my sickness it´s not recognized to receive a sicknes payment. All those products all so expensive... I could never afford even start with the most cheap ones. You don´t know how lucky you are. You are so talented, by the way. I follow always all your videos. Love them. Apologize to tell my cry baby story....

Beautiful shells and I love the effect of the pigments with the glitter underneath them
ive never thought about this befre but now i wanna do a seashell headband and other cute stuff

That's what I was thinking, great kids project, get them to do a few each in what ever design they like, perfect for Christmas ❤️🎄

They are so cute, love them all. Thanks for sharing 👏🏻😉👍🏻
Another fab video. Thanks!
Thanks!! 😊😘
Beautiful!
Those are the prettiest shells I've ever seen. Do you think you would ever make a custom domino set with those molds?
Thank you Julie! 😀
I will make the entire set of dominoes for sure!
I want to try a few more examples before I do it
@@sandrartes I would love to either watch you make them or if it will be a long video hopefully the finish product.
If I don’t make a video for it I’ll post the picture on my Instagram :)
@@sandrartes what is your Instagram handle?
Muy bonito 👍👍👍

Very beautiful. How long do you put it under the uv light to cure?
How do you keep your tools so clean?? I am always having to scrape stuff off them!
How do the colors not mix together when you poured them into the second mold? Beautiful work :)
I love the dominoes! I would like to make some but not sure which UV lamp to buy. Which one do you recommend? I don't see it listed above.
Was that paint that you used to fill the dots in
Your works are wonderful. Please, can you buy the mold and the machines that you use? I am a loyal follower from Algeria. Please reply
I just love the shells! They look so beautiful. Did you make a whole set of dominos Sandra? I’d love to play with such gorgeous, sparkly dominoes!
Hi dear Jane! 😀
I haven’t made the entire set yet because I want to try a few more examples.
I’ll make it with epoxy resin 😀
This might be a dumb question but how much ventilation do you need to work with resin? Also where did you buy your light from?
Would you personally recommend miniature sweet? (I've been ripped off by places before and am worried)
davvero molto graziosi :-)
What is the name of the drying machine
