Thank you for having me on, Lisa. I had yet to listen and just came across this in my algorithm. You asked great questions, and I appreciate your love for the 80s. I hope you're doing well. Sending thousands of hearts your way xx
Beautiful nostalgic interview. So glad I randomly came across this today. We share a birthday Lala, Oct 12th! So, happy belated💗all the pictures shown here of you & Corey from Bop & Tiger beat are seared in my memory. I was so envious at 12/13yrs old…I wanted to be you😂 you are still very beautiful & kind. Be kind to your younger self, she was doin her best and her best was pretty amazing❤
great interview. She seems so down to earth, always thought she was so beautiful, although I was jealous as a kid because man i loved me some corey Haim.
Great interview! Lala's voice reminds me of Julia Roberts whenever she does interviews. I've never seen her in interviews prior to this and now that I've watched it, she seems like a sweet person.
You have an original vinyl!!? Ahhh I need to find one. This was my very first CD. I remember going into kmart in Australia and ordering it and they had to ship it intentionally and I was so excited. Must have been 1994/5. It’s still the most played cd I have. So good!!
You live in Wilmington!!?? Ah the dream! I went there to do a Dawson’s creek location trip and I’m kicking myself I didn’t realise DALD was shot there too!! I will be back and definitely get your scouting!
Fantastic fun interview with a lovely person (hope Lala gets the treatment she needs so desperately - she comes across great in the video so hoping that was another good day for her). DALD is not a film I can resonate with so some day you all have to explain the appeal haha but I love that people love it :-) Hope you're enjoying your holiday Lisa which I'm having a wild guess and assuming is in...Bali? Maybe I just subconsciously assume that's where all Aussies have their holidays. Thanks again for doing these.
Thailand :) we’re working remotely for a month as it’s cheaper than being in the UK for winter! 😂 definitely give the movie another watch, the music is amazing and it’s just a fun movie ❤
@@LifeAfterMoviesWebShow Sawasdee krab! Love Thailand but it took us a while to get used to haggling for everything (and then we were hooked!). On paper I should definitely love DALD but here's my theory on why I don't - I watched it for the first time a month ago! I love my 80's films and Lost Boys is up there in my top 10 films I've rewatched (blew my innocent 14 year old mind when I snuck into the cinema for it in '87) so I get the pull of the Corey's, but my middle aged brain just picked apart how disjointed it all was and I had no nostalgia for it...stupid old man brain ruining my enjoyment of a body-swap-but-not-really-because-there's-two-brains-in-one-body masterpiece. We do agree on the music though - that is 80's gold! Now I just need to know why they decided to give Corey Haim a cane and an injured leg in this film. It never impacts the story so I have to wonder if there's a deleted somewhere that made this make sense.
The cane was added because Corey Haim genuinely hurt / broke his leg before filming 😂 I hear you on the nostalgia connection. I tell friends to not bother with like neverending story or goonies if they haven’t seen it because the reason we love those films is the nostalgic connection. So totally get that. At least the soundtrack can be appreciated at any age!
I have 2 say I haven't seen the movie Dream a little Dream before I'm gona have 2 check it out, I remember the 2 Corey's tho they were thee IT guys of there time in the 80's remember License 2 Drive movie it was a great movie!! Made me want 2 get my driver's license real quick!! Great interview Lisa as always looking forward 2 the next!! 😁😁😄😄👍👍😉😉
i always love your comments! Yes Licence To Drive was amazing, such a classic! You must watch Dream A Little Dream though :) With a nostalgia hat on as you do!
Your best metaphorical nostalgia hat 🎉it will be interesting to hear what you thinking seeing it for the first time now, and not having that nostalgia connection
Now you know who she is! 😊 she loves talking about Corey and I love hearing about him as I’ve been such a fan of both of theirs since I was 14 - honouring someone is not the same as using someone, so something to recognise in the future
Thanks for watching! She’s such a lovely person. I guess it’s subjective, I think she had a certain something that maybe “good” actors don’t have. But indeed an incredibly lovely person

Get a real job and work like everyone else in the real world and don't ask for money. You seem entitled based on no acting talent at all.
Nepotism.
Why was she cast?
@@paulbradley705 presumptuous

Nobody i know has heard of her.
Maybe Hollywood should just cast people that you and your friends have heard of, I’m sure it would save the film industry
I have heard of you, Paul. You're the rude, judgemental, assumption-making person from a few previous comments.
Good movies but no clue who she was lol Corey still being used sad 😢
