The Shunosaurus (the anky tailed sauropod) would be cool, if the tail club would look like the creature's head. Attract predators with charged light and have them attack the glowing tail, with two eyes resembling spot, the trick would be perfect!
Honestly in my opinion the jumping spider, owl and hypnotic spider are perfect for this map in their own unique ways and it pains me that if one wins the others won’t be added

The Owl and Jumper for me, I’d also say Chasmosaurus or Yi Qi would fit really well too, but the Owl or the Jumper for me though, maybe if enough people vote we could both for and they tie, we can get both! Very Unlikely though.
The owl with a weeping angel feature would be so cool. Like every time u turn your back it gets closer and that’s how u tame it passively

Fr it’s so hard to pick one and even if my favourite does get in I will still be sad the others didnt
The owl just fits so nicely in imo. The ravager is supposed to be you early game traversal dino like a raptor, but nothing really fills the niche of what comes between that and your first rock drake in abb I feel. The spider could very well work too, but I think the flightless owl just embodies the weird and backwards ecosystem of aberration. Plus it would be cool to see that the birds of the damaged ark were able to adapt and evolve into these creatures over time

Some of these have cool ideas but alot of them feel like retreads of creatures that we already have. Aberration is literally the skull Island of Ark so I was hoping for more of the abilities of some of these guy's to be a bit more unique.

I don't care they are cute, and could help with my arachnophobia. I much prefer these cute little spiders over the other two.. Bloodstalkers I'm ok with, they don't really look like spiders to me in a weird way.
I would honestly love to see the Chimerarachne Yingi in Ark. I think that it’s be an excellent creature to maneuver about aberrationand would be a welcomed edition to the insect/arachnid family. Also, it just looks both terrifying and cool as anything…. Imagine the mutations that you could get on it.

The octopus has such a cool opportunity to me! If it’s oxygen was vice versa and it needed to go back to water to breathe and you could pump “oxygen” so it could stay on land longer.
That would just be really annoying tho Maybe give it a movement boost or something when you’ve been in the water sort of like the crystal wyvern but if u need to keep going to water it would be terrible for quality of life
I feel like for the Chimerarachnae, the hypnosis would work like how the Bloodstalker reels you in. Where you slowly walk to it and you have to mash in order to escape. What could also happen when the player is hypnotized (and I think it would be funny). Is if another player punches you, you instantly snap out of hypnosis as a reference to the common movie trope of 'slap the entranced person to snap them out of it'.

A couple of these feel like they're designed with ascension in mind. Like, they aren't necessarily useful on the map they supposed to be found in, but for use when you can get to *other* maps.
Then they're doing it wrong.
These votes are for creatures *EXCLUSIVE* to these maps, so having them only reach their full potential when brought elsewhere is just stupid, it defeats the purpose of the votes to begin with.
@@Going4Broke2528exactly. The octopus is a good example. Concept is great! But there's not alot of water here, unless you go to the blue zone or live near the rivers (often dangerous).... it couldn't reach its full potential here and would have to be taken somewhere else in order to reach it, maybe gen 1. Same for the owl and afew others, they could never reach their full potential and some wouldn't make sense.
@@nova14414 I think with the octopus they could honestly think a bit more outside the box. Second concept was a shoulder pet that could use tools, and while voting based on abilities is stupid because the abilities are up to wc, we're just voting for the creature itself, it shows just how many things they could do with an octopus.
@@Going4Broke2528 yeah, when voting for creatures I try to look for something that's really going to make people remember it. For me that was the jumping spider (other than the fact that it's cute. Im a sucker for anything fluffy with big eyes... ;-;). I love the concept and reason it's artist gave me in a comment during the last creature vote.
All the creatures this time are strong entries, but the Jumping Spider, Owl, and Octopus are probably the three strongest entries imo. The owl feels like a natural branch of the already crazy snow owls evolution to perfectly fit the environment, the Spider (well spiders, but the jumping spider in particular) just flat out feel right for Aberration's highly vertical topography. As for the Octopus... I mean Rockwell had to have gotten his tentacles from somewhere right?

for me this is what i liked. love the big scary bc apparently rock drakes, nameless, ravagers, reapers, seekers, and all the ers arent enough for me. and i think koolasuchus and octo would be great on crystal isles but not so much on abb. and i hope if terater gets it, it would be like a bloodstalker, hiding on cliffs and trees in the blue and snatches u.

@@23Raind this is misleading. If you level melee the rate at which it shoots it’s feathers sharply increases, and regeneration similarly increases with more stam. It isn’t always going to be a long setup. Not to mention you won’t have to land much since you can regen stamina on a wall. It has great mobility. It’s low health pool is to balance it because otherwise it would be OP considering how much damage it can dish out

Both spiders are my absolute fav, I love the hypno spider because I feel like it has the same theme as a reaper. And I like the jumper because it just seems like it would fit aberration

Remember, everyone. We're voting for the creature itself. What it does and how it looks is ultimately up to Wildcard. Never listen to the abilities suggested on each submission, because there's always a chance they don't get used, especially if they're really out there. The Dinopithecus was supposed to be able to wield tools and guns, remember? Vote for the actual creature you want represented, don't take the abilities into account.

@@23Raind well sure but that was just the first creature vote back when the devs were still learning how to navigate it while the more recent additions have been fairly true to the the suggestions made gigantorapter and rhynio for example got most of their suggested features same with the sino and desmodus
I would love to see the spider being able to turn invisible at the cost of stamina and radiation damage so you can steal rockdrake eggs
just bring an oviraptor from another server, cryo it, glide down take an egg, climb up. I steal rock drake eggs on foot.
@@23Raind you take oviraptor in a cryopod. It only needs to be out for about 10 seconds to pick up the egg. It won't even been close to dying in that time. And it doesn't matter if they climb faster. They don't care. They won't aggro when the egg is picked up by an oviraptor. You throw down the ovi tell it to pick up the egg, take the egg, put the ovi back on the pod and go on with your life.

The Yingi is absolutely the best for looks on aberration and the Yi Qi would be great as an early game glider for aberration
Abberation absolutly needs one of the spiders. I'm leaning more towards the Yingi for the horror vibe the map has but a cute colourfull fluffball would aso be welcome.
Ark might make the poor thing a mess though, but I love the jumping spider. A spider in general would fit quite well climbing around

The “cute” position is already occupied by the light pets, ab needs a badass creature. Rock drake, karkinos, reaper, nameless, megalo would all devour cute shit.

I loved the idea of the naive eureka for scorched earth caves but it’s even better for aberration! Also I think it would be amazing if it could scare away seekers or rock drakes with the eye spots (an example of mimicry) I loved it before but it’s even better now!

Im voting for the Maevia Eureka. Solely based on the design of it on the crystal in aberration. Think it will be a cute tame and a great addition to aberration. I also think that its the only map that it belongs on as a lot of the top 10 dinos would go great on a genesis map

@@laelaps5246 They're the exception not the rule. They're meant to give you comfort, which is fine since they're shoulder pets. The spider is not a shoulder pet.
@@therexyogaming i wouldn't consider 4 out of 11 creatures (or 4 out of 9 tameable creatures) "an exception" .
It's between a third and a half of all aberration "exclusive" creatures.
Aberration also has aberrant horses, sheep, lystros and otters. None of them is particularly scary looking.

I think most creatures here would really fit Aberration. This is my top 10:
1. Chimerarachne Yingi (A spider like this on a creepy map like this would look amazing. The hypnotic effects on the map with hypnotising shrooms seems to fit in well. The creature is well equipped to traverse Aberration, too. The design is scary!)
2. Maevia Eureka (A mixture of Aberration’s scary and cute creatures. Seeing spider webs on the map [which would likely be the case with the Yingi as well] would be great. The jumping feature would work wonders on this map.)
3. Paleoctopus (This is just such a unique idea. An octopus capable of going on land with you, unlocking doors and producing ink that helps reapers definitely sounds like the most unique idea in my opinion.)
4. Ornimegalonyx (Damn, does a really speedy bird [done right, sorry Terror Bird] seem interesting. The lit eyes and the aesthetic of an owl seems so fitting on this map. And it being able to climb by jumping… if it would be similar to the ferox or deinonychus, I think it would fit in well.)
5. Teraterpeton (I’m a sucker for lizards. Lizard shapes reptiles are great. This tongue piercing, with the extra scare of it being dangerous to reaper carriers seems great. It just needs something extra to be more unique.)
6. Motobite (This would be so fun. A saddle with light [maybe even charge light], whilst being speedy on land and in the water sounds fun. This would be a great one to mess around with. We do already have an Aberration rolling creature, though.)
7. Yi qi (Shooting feathers sounds quite cool, though the thorny dragon and velonasaur exist. The design is impeccable, but apart from those two things, this one doesn’t seem that interesting to me.
8. Chasmosaurus (It’s a simple and effective creature. I’m torn on this one. The charge light on the front seems like a good idea, but there’s a novelty to having these small shoulder pets with you to provide charge light. This one would probably not get picked much after early game.
9. Koolasuchus (Design is cool. It being amphibian is cool. But apart from that, it’s just another ambush predators. Specifically another ambush predator with a small hint of its whereabouts. We don’t really need it.)
10. Shunosaurus (The tail seems cool, but I don’t think we need a super harvester.)
I honestly think a lot of these creatures would be very complementary to one another. Alas, we have to choose.

For me, my top 3 are (from first to third) the Jumping Spider, the terrifying Yingi Spider, and the Koolasuchus. I personally think Aberration is the perfect map to introduce a spider or a salamander.
The koolasuchus is my exact vision for the aberration creature we need, but the shunosaurus is such a badass creature that I would love to see it in game, except I really don't think it would make sense on aberration, it seems like it would be more of a scorched earth creature. I'm so conflicted
I feel like the octopus creature works on many levels, not only being able to come out of the water and jump but also it fits Rockwell as well. He fancies himself a god so why wouldn't he try and create something similar to his new form? I think it's great!
Its like the giant octupus on skull island and abberation is nearly like skull island and like he said we only have a squit i find the octupus too
I mean , there are irl jumping octopus so it’s not even that far fetched
Armadillidiidae (that small bug that live under rock and it can become ball)
-giant version of that bug
- it only spawn on surface when sun is down
-its extreme weight dino with extreme hp, and if its hp get low it wrap it self in ball
-resistant to radiation and fall dmg, you just roll
-there is also small platform saddle, block rolling and wraping into ball with saddle
Since we already have night it would be awesome to use that idea!!!
Chimerarachne Yingi reminding me of fighting off the Reapers in Mass Effect.
The Maevia Eureka is my favorite, as I love spiders and it has some really cool abilities.

2:50 i think it trying to talk with other spide. Those spiders in real life are so smart, smarter than so many smart animals and they communicate via shaking their little legs.

The Owl is far by my favourite one because it fits perfectly into this creepy Aberration theme and I like Owls pretty much. It reminds me of this Giant Keeper Owl of the Avatar series and this is a huge yes for me

Aberration is weird, perfect way to describe alot of the creatures and theme.
I have it as my number two, with Koolasuchus at number one, mostly because I'm curious to see what they even do with an octopus on a map where, if it was stuck in water, it'd be usable in one, maybe two locations. They'd kind of HAVE to make it usable on land, and that's why it piques my interest. That, and octopi are WICKED smart, fascinating little dudes IRL. Kool-aid takes the cake on this one, however, because when it comes to amphibians, Ark doesn't have a lot of rep for them, and there's a ton of things they could do with it.

I think my vote is going to shunosaurus. An early to mid game sauropod tame seems like a great idea. They could fight off packs of ravagers and nameless, maybe being so big that they won't even provoke the thought of attacking it.
My reason for putting it on 1 is because i want some bigger aberration dinos and it looks so cool

The Yi Qi and both the spiders I feel are the most suitable for Aberration. The Motobite could as well because of how unique it is but I still find the others more appropriate for the biome. It also makes me think I’m looking at an oversized Rollie Pollie.

Chimerarachne Yingi has my top vote. The alien like look that matches the reaper plus the concept to be able to create organic wed ziplines just sounds perfect for aberration. Could see it being in a lot of the same dark regions as the reaper and seekers.
Many of the land mounts don't work well with all the verticality, and we already have a supreme glider with the rock drakes.
Funny enough, the jumping spider then falls down to my least desired among them. It's pretty goofy to me, despite the fact that jumping would be fine for this map.
@@23Raind I see, did not read through all the submissions at length. I don't really mind to have all of the details since these are more the wishes of those submitting them and not guaranteed or even likely to feature all of the mechanics. At most, the core idea hopefully makes it through. Asthetics is the main thing that tends to mostly be implemented faithfully. :)
Its funny I never place my final vote until you do these type of videos breaking down the creature and possible abilities that will be useful and likely to actually work in game always helps make picking what creature to vote for alot easier for me
That is a risk when big content creators do videos like this, they have the power to completely sway the votes with their mere opinion. Shunosaurus and Chasmosaurus are definitely out now because of this content creator's verbal skepticism of them.
@@rickcharlespersonal Not necessarily true Chasmosaurus is actually in my third spot I think it would be a great creature with a cool ability Ark needs more ceratopsians, I do agree tho that Shunosaurus would suit a different map, I think extinction would be perfect if it spawns in the waste lands its really rough and aggressive design would suit such an aggressive map
The koolasuchus would be great on a different map with more water, it'd fit really well in the swamp on genesis 1 and The owl would also fit well in the swamp. This creature vote actually has alot of good entrys in the top 10.

This vote is way better than the rag one. The rag one sucked, too many repeats and a lot of them were just overall underwhelming. Ab has a lot of dope entries with niche abilities that don’t exist yet
Chimerarachne Yingi reminds me of a whiptail scorpion only a million times more terrifying. Arachnophobic here but even I admit it looks awesome. Yi Qi, Jumper, the octopus, motobite, owl and the chimera are ones I liked.

The fuzzy jumping spider is probably going on the top of my list for every map I think it fits lol. I'll admit, I didn't think it fit Ragnarok as well, but Aberration I think it fits great.
The Yingi really seems to fit Aberration too, though.... and I'd love an octopus in ark, too... and the owl would look so cool on Aberration!

I'm hoping the jumping spider wins a vote. I really want something that could help with my arachnophobia and not make it worse (in the case of the demon scorpion spider thing). I seen pictures of jumping spiders and they are adorable, I love them (from a distance beacuse arachnophobia sucks)
@@nova14414 I've found that watching videos of people handling them helps. Got into Clint's Reptiles and Snake Discovery a while ago and they have some videos on jumping spiders, and there's sure to be others
I think for the Chimerarachne's hypnotic ability, it could make sounds of a passive creature like a trike, bronto, or stego to lure players in. And then when tamed, you could have a sound box to lure your friends in. Just a thought though.
That type of octopus would roam around the reaper territory tho they’d have a simbiotic relationship.

I remember watching a video on how birds evolved wings because I was curious as to how it could’ve happened bc it would’ve had to been gradual and I don’t see what the use of half a wing could’ve been. And the answer was that it was used to scale nearly vertical walls as the wings could flap pulling the bird to the wall, I feel that if they applied that idea the the owl ( 19:51 )it could be very useful and technically realistic as it wouldn’t be able to fly but it would have the ability to scale walls, making it relevant to aberration. Of course you have stuff like the rock drake and deino that can already scale walls, so you could give it a bonus of having it be the fastest, practically running up the walls as it would in real life, but it can’t go upside down or sideways, it just runs up vertically. I just think that would be the coolest idea for the big owl.
Im certain that when making the docier for the owl the artist was playing a game called dauntless and fighting the big ass bird known as the skraev

The owl isn't really... its an underground cave where there isn't any flying creatures. I honestly think the jumping spider and (unfortunately) the yi qi make the most sense here. Maybe the owl could work in gen 2...?
@@nova14414 The owl isn’t a flyer though, it’s specifically a road Runner like owl with climbing and Jumping abilities. It quite literally could be the perfect travel mount for those who do not have the resources for taking a ravger

@syntac it would be cool if the spider worked like the blood stalker where it does this charm and in a small area effect cone around it and if your a player, u gotta spam click on the bloodstalker to get out of the trance or something like that
I think Shuno would work if the “lore” of it was that it frequently uses plant-z as a sort of scratching post, and because of this plant-z pollen has built up on its tail and it can slam the ground mimicking a flash fruit. This would be its only trait just an extra one to make it stand out :)
Chimerarachne Yingi will be the best because maybe he will be life in hell of aberration where is Reaper Queen or in the Surface or else
Chimera and - yi Qi - motobite would be my top 3 as they got that aberration feeling feeling they look mysterious and intimidating

My hopes are the Koolasuchus or Yingi which I honestly was shocked when I saw it as how wild it looked compared to every other creature vote I have seen I would also be happy with the octopus which I think has a cool idea
