Eve, (how) is the legal practise course connetcted to your future firm? I'm curious since you're doing uni again and I imagine that there will be trainees from all kind of firms not just from one particular one. Do you get extra/specific material from your law firm to support you or to prepare you best for their needs? Do you have just uni for now or specific days or appointments with your firm too going along with the LPC?

Girl, I am so confused about how law school works in the UK. In the US, you get your 4 year undergraduate degree (after high school or grade 9-12) in any subject. Then you apply to a law school, and law school is a 3 year program. How is it over there?

Today, I was watching a video about a man who decided he likes trees so much that he studied to become a tree doctor-if that’s a politically correct term. He spent two years learning about leaves, different types of trees, and all the things a man in his position would need to know! In the third year, his journey took a turn where he had to learn about finance and how to measure the price by weight and the space trees occupy. That was the breaking point where the video snapped into a short clip of trees being cut down for profit! Just watching this hipster will make you want to take a shower and stop eating avocado toast! Where are we going with this constant need for capital? Was he right, or were the forces at play trying to say something? They do pay more in London!
