Excellent mam.. Thank you so much for making it so easy and feasible. And one must have common sense that when you are discussing about the first phase then it's obvious that widow remarriage is in 1856. You have done a splendid job mam. Thank you so much

I might be wrong, but I googled the first governor general and its says Warren Hastings and you said william bentick. Can you please clear this confusion?
According to Charter Act 1833 Governor General of Bengal was made the Governor General of India . William Bentinck was Gov 1828-1835 so He was the First Governor General Of India [ Refer NCERT and Laxmikant ] . Whereas Warren hasting was Governor in 1774-1785. In 1772 He was Governor of Fort William . The Regulating act of 1773 Brought the presidency of madras and Bombay under Bengal and Governor of Bengal came to be known as Gov General Of Bengal . Warren hasting was thus first gov gen of Bengal . Hope this clears your confusion Shailja and thanks for watching the video with such concentration , and verifying when in Doubt , these are great traits of a Successful student . All The best :)
Doctrine of Lapse was not brought by Lord Dalhousie....it was an old measure of East India Company Board of Directors carried forward by Lord Dalhousie.
Sir JOhn Shore came after Cornwallis(First term). He followed the policy of non intervention in the affairs native states .William Bentink's policy on non intervention and no aggression resulted in the treaty of perpetual friendship with MAharaja Ranjit Singh and Amir of Sind (to ward off Russian danger).Technically speaking it was the second term of Cornawallis in 1895 when he was again Gov General and was sent to control the damage done by wellesely's forward policy. In exam i dn't think that such confusing options will not be given. But choose the most correct one among the options. ATB
+John Nash or just remember How John Nash was irritated by his neighbor/the roommate who never was , or consider the imaginary people in John Nash as his permanent neighbors
@@ExamTricks hey mam.. Would you like to ask some queries regarding my psir optional.. Please suggest me how would I take this at home.. Is coaching necessary or can I prepare from home .. And what should be the proper approach for PSIR optional? Please suggest me🙏
@@aakankshachaudhary7581 Hi aakansha. For Pol sci optional,if this is your first attempt and polsci is new to then first step is to go through previous year papers .I would suggest either buy Shubhra Ranjan's Polsci notes or take her course.if you have read polsci in graduation then her notes will suffice and you just need to take her test series. If not then download the notes online(old notes freely available give it one reading and go through previous year questions. If you are able to answer the questions then combine your notes with her and keep practicing answer writing.
it seems you lost the bet , Until 1833, the title of the position was "Governor-General of Bengal". The Government of India Act1833 converted the title into "Governor-General of India
