I was never in Sistar's fandom but whether you were in their fandom or not you knew their songs. It's always sad to see groups you know of and love disband, I was on holiday in Disneyland Paris when it was announced that they were disbanding and my response was we've lost another group. I may not have followed everything they did but I still shed tears watching their M/V as well as their goodbye special stage and Lonely comeback stage. I hope they win some trophies with Lonely to show them that even though they won't be around anymore everyone still holds a place for them. I personally think that maybe 5/10 years down the line after they pursued their solo dreams they'll reconnect and perform together again.

It is so sad to think of people who will never get to know groups and artists that were such a huge inspiration to other people because that "era" has ended and the groups have disbanded and the artists are no longer promoting. SISTAR was the first girl group that I really liked and Hyorin was a great inspiration to me because of her amazing talent and personality. I know that SISTAR will live on forever in the hearts of their fans and I will support them all in whatever endeavours they choose to pursue. #ThankYouSISTAR

i think i'm speaking for a lot of people when i say that it's extra heartbreaking to see a group like sistar break up when they're one of the reasons you got into kpop in the first place. and what makes this harder is that they're a group without any drama. they're a real family and while this is comforting to know it also makes me sad to know we won't be seeing them together like this anymore :( anyways, thank you sistar 💜
