I agree mate, so I did playback at .50%. That worked for me.
We used a Bostich wire tightener 6 wires per bail, never had to cut lengths of wire it was continuous feed off the spool. The machine would tension wrap and cut the wire, our bails were 600 700#
How did the bale get forward on the pallet?
The chains push up a platform that ejects it
