One of the best tutorials for EDA !! Lucid explanation. I have been working in data science for 3 years now and still was able to add to my knowledge here.
I took a deep learning course with my only bg being having read/worked through half of Hands-On ML... Prof asked me to do an EDA and I'm like WTF, but Hands-On ML taught me Pandas pretty well an watching this I now know exactly what to do. Thanks!
So glad I found this. I'd delighted to be introduced to Dr. Nantasenamat's content. Very clear and applicable. Very high content to noise. I'm a geographer and we use GIS data for geoanalysis and the majority of the work is with data. I've been slowly learning a bit more Pandas and GeoPandas over time and I feel like I just had an injection of Pandas nanobots.
Hi Tim, welcome to the channel. Glad to hear that you're finding Pandas useful for your GIS work. For data visualization of geo data, there are leafmap and geoplot.
I'm working on my MSc in Applied Data Analytics and I am a complete newbie with Python. I thought it was utterly kicking my @#$e! Your video just helped me realise I was not doing any where near as bad as I thought Thank you :)
Thank you so much for preparing such a beautiful video, applied it one by one with its explanations. I even added a few extra questions, it was a useful video. "If you do not know how to ask the right question, you discover nothing." W. Edward Deming
Love your content!! Question: I have to choose between PhD in Biomedical Informatics or Biomedical Data Science. Which do you think would be more beneficial long term?(jobs, pay) Both programs are fully funded.
Hi, I think you’ll have to take a deeper dive into the details of each program. Look through the course offerings, look through some of the potential research projects and PhD supervisors that you would like to work with. The title of both programs are close enough so we will have to look at the granular differences. Hope this helps.
I am an experienced R user. I can write code in R just like a teenager writes a diary. However, I really want to switch to Python as for some aspect, I found Python is much better. This video is exactly what I need to transition from R to Python.
Glad to hear that the video was helpful in your transition. I have another video on this very topic, feel free to check it out ua-cam.com/video/zyh2HU1efo4/v-deo.html
I'm up to the point where I find the player with the most points but I found that it was wrong. I had to convert the PTS column to an integer and then find the max value.
@@DataProfessor nice nice. So I can definitely see influence of @ken jee in this sports analytics project😅.anyway keep coming up with more such content and if possible start an interview prep series with Ken.
Sorry for this, greatly appreciate the feedback, in recent videos have been using bigger fonts, will definitely keep this in mind for future videos as well 😃
This is the best comprehensive EDA intro. Hope you keep making more. Professor.
Thanks for the encouragement 😃

Great job!
พึ่งรู้ว่าคุณคนไทยครับ ทำคลิปดีมากก กลับมาใช้ python เจออันนี้พอดี สู้ๆครับ
It's a great video. I have seen the best exploratory data analysis video in youtube. Please add examples with more complex data.
Thanks Adnan for the kind words 😃 Could you suggest some data that you would like me to analyze, thanks in advance.

What a clear, concise but comprehensive tour of Python/Pandas/Seaborn capabilities. Thanks!
Glad it was helpful! 😊
Thank you for such a beautiful, step-wise & lucid explanation. One of the best videos on EDA.
Thank you for the kind encouragement 😃
Many thanks for this brief video of EDA, Looking forward to learning more from this channel.
Excellent explanation. Thank you very much for wonderful video. Keep it up.
I just finished watching this video. Thanks a lot for explaining each and every step so beautifully.
Glad it was helpful!
Very nice video. A good quick intro to Pandas for beginners and a good "refresh" for rusty users. Useful and clear. Kudos!
It’s a pleasure, thanks for the kind words 😊
Thanks Prof, I think this is the one that could make me easily understand what EDA is... Keep sharing good things.
Glad to hear that
I haven't even watched half of the whole vid and I have already learned so much useful stuff!!!
print('thank you ^.^ ')
You're very welcome!
He explains waaayy better than my ML/Data Science teacher. lol

Thanks Dilara, and great quote by the way. :)
Best EDA video ever!
As a physics grad student, this helped tremendously! Thank youso much
Great video. I only wish I found it two days ago, would have saved me a lot of googling and frustration.
Sir,
It's very helpful and impressive tutorial of EDA. I really amazed by your style of presentation in Google Colab. Thank You 😊 ❤️
Glad the contents are helpful and thanks for watching 😊
Thank you, learnt a bunch of new functions
Great to hear!
I love your EDA about the NBA_2019, what is the command you used to get the Acronym. please can you share it.
Thank you! It's easy to follow along.
Glad it was helpful!

Easily explained , Thanks Professor
Thanks for watching and for the kind comment 😃
Awesome video & channel!! I'm a junior undergrad student in physics and data science :)
Welcome aboard!
Hola muchas gracias por compartir este video, me ha servido de mucho
Great content ! incredible and well explained!
Glad it helped!
Thank you Professor!!
Awesome Explanation as Always!! Professor!!🙂
Thanks for the encouragement 😃
Why did you write the data to a Csv, and read csv file in again for the data analysis ? Is write to csv an optional step?
As usual.... Another great video...
Thanks for the kind words!
Thanks for the video Prof, much appreciated
You are very welcome
Hi Teacher, Do you have plans to make a video tutorial about de DASH?
Thanks for the suggestion, will look into it 😃
Thank you!
A pleasure!
Hi prof, can I work with 2 dataframes in pandas like a vlookup in Excel? ie, i want to fill a column in df1 with a search criteria match on df2.
That was amazing!
Thanks for watching 😃
5:00 Why do we need to export to csv and then import back?
I think u should zoom in your window... Because some are using 360p
Thanks. 🍓🍓🍓
I'm up to the point where I find the player with the most points but I found that it was wrong. I had to convert the PTS column to an integer and then find the max value.
Love it...
Thank you watching!
good one
Thank you for watching!
thank you sir
Thanks for watching!
kindly zoom in when you are showing the code. apart from that nice video as always
Thanks for the valuable suggestion and thanks for watching. My apologies, in recent videos I have increased the font sizes 😃

55, yeah, Ken’s a very inspirational data scientist. Thanks for the suggestion 😃
soooo good .
Thank you!
please consider for next times either using a bigger font sizes or zoom in the screen :) not everyone is watching these videos at 40" screens :)
Sorry for this, greatly appreciate the feedback, in recent videos have been using bigger fonts, will definitely keep this in mind for future videos as well 😃
14:42 would be shorter and easier with this. df[df['Tm']=='LAL']
I’m unable to open this as a document
Pls what is the GitHub of the data professor,I can't see it clear
Hi it’s github.com/dataprofessor
Poor dataset choice.
Thank you!
You're welcome! Thanks for watching!
