Apparently Jaejoong was adopted at the age of 4, his biological mother left him to his big family now bc of financial issues. Back in 2006, His bio mom revealed on tv that jaej was her son and his bio dad even filed a custody/lawsuit but dropped it the next day. Jaej has had no contact with his bio mom for a long time now and he hasn't forgiven his bio dad yet based on his 2021 documentary. This trajectory of his life is kind of a blessing in disguise or destiny, he met such a great big family who provided the real meaning of home, give him love, hug him in warmth and nurtured him to become what he is now.
Jaejoong was adopted when he was young and it wasn't until he debuted in TVXQ that he found out he was adopted. If I remember correctly his biological parents didn't seem to be very nice, they only came to him when he became famous at that time... maybe I'm glad he met Kim's parents, his adoptive family wasn’t rich or well off but they still raised him and loved him, everyone was nice (I had the chance to meet his sisters at a concert and they were all so lovely). He grew up very well, I’m proud of that ❤.
