I'm trying to apply for a class for the NYU precollege but it says i need to contact the department for permission to have the class do you know how i can contact the department ? Please help :c
What kinds of stuff was on your transcript? Did u have volunteer work or extracurricular stuff? What do u think the best thing for the personal statement would be?
Are they really strict about GPA? I have good grades and lots of extra curriculars and volunteer work but my GPA isn't very strong :/ I just applied and im superrrrr nervous aggh lol
which classes did you take (just curious)? was your time more dominated by studying, or were you able to spend a lot of time exploring the city and taking part in activities & social/cultural outings?
How much financial aid can you receive? I'd love to go, but I'm not sure my family can afford it. Also, with all of those teenagers clustered together, is there a lot of drugs, sex, alcohol, etc?
What you do on your free time is your own business. You sign a contract in the beginning that forbids drugs, alcohol, and smoking during the program so there's that. Maturity is a huge factor and you live in a dorm like real college so it's nothing you wouldn't experience in dorm life. As to financial aide you will have to apply yo find our how much you will receive, so apply and see what you git there is no harm in it! Hope that was helpful
I am worried about a whole semester of material being condensed into one month. How was that for you? Did you find it very intense, or was it really not much worse than any normal AP class?

just apply on their website and it explains everything. and i am not admissions so i don't know what they are looking for. It never hurts to apply tho!
Anabelle Cohen hi! I previously attended. They are real college courses. They are mostly taught by NYU professors and some classes even have actual NYU students!
