I’m glad I’m not the only one that’s been having weird stuff happening with kiriko this last week or so
FitzyHere clip at 12:04 is crazy. The mag grenade stuck to his translocator as he threw it, and then it exploded which removed stealth. I didn't know the translocator still counted as a physical object. I guess this also means with insane skill and timing you can destroy it before sombra TP's away?

13:58 I don't understand what I'm supposed to get from this clip. Super going mad at his teammate playing mediocre? No clear mistakes were made (missed shots, surprise it happens sometimes). Used rush to secure the teamfight (which it was), and focused on healing Super because Super was pushing further and further while low. If I was in this team I would've said "Where the hell you going Zarya?!?!?!"
because no one he was fighting died, even though they were all on low health which indicates that no one was hitting their shots or focusing on the front line where super was making plays. his ash was losing a 1v1 vs a moira who ulted and killed ash. it was all just garbage plays from his team.
@@mitchhamilton64 But you can immediately see Super get a pick with the grav? :D Also why he grav there and then imply it was much worse to Kitsune there? Super wasn't even looking at the Moira so not sure about that, we're watching Kiriko's pov and she's not focusing Moira. The Moira is also full hp. Also, it was Super who ignored the Moira and pushed on the point alone as a tank, forcing the Kiri to choose between saving him or doing dps, and making the Ashe deal with Moira alone. Super also forfeit the Kitsune's boost to get on point early (some 20 seconds left).
So, I still don't really see it. All I see is wasted grav (or, as wasted as the Kitsune), and a rushing Zarya who is tying his Kirikos hands. At least the Kiri saved Super with the suzu. The funniest thing I get from this is the unlucky aim on the Mei, but that happens even in high level play because OW movement is unrealisticly twitchy.Y
@@Minisynapse exactly! grav wouldve been enough. if he had 2 in grav, maybe it would be justified to rush to secure those kills but that player was dead anyways. its just a wasted rush. using one ult to kill one player is not terrible, its just an ultra move to secure a kill. using two when not needed is a waste, which is what kiriko did since that kill was guaranteed already without rush.
i saw the video when he posted this on his channel, where its longer and more context and he goes back and watches what everyone was doing. also, ashe wasted bob, forgot about that.
kiriko shouldnt have been forced to choose though, thats the point! she should just focus support while the rest focus on his opponents. why? because he nearly killed two on his own while his team was one v oneing multiple people and losing. if they just focused with super, they wouldve won.
youre probably gonna think that hes no different from them since he couldnt get those kills. the point is that they werent winning their fights anyways, so might as well put a tiny, any, just a little bit of effort to kill multiple low healthed players that super created and they wouldve won. instead of needlessly 1v1 ing a moira and losing.
@@mitchhamilton64 Seems like a reasonable narrative, but OW is a complicated mess. Many different ways of team coordination (or lack thereof) can result in the same outcome. The context matters of course, but I still see many potential ways this could've been turned around. They had 14 seconds remaining so not much time to waste but definitely not too little to throwing hurtboxes on the point. Rush could've easily led to bursting at least 2 enemies from where they stood, but that plan relies on your team performing well fast. Game is hectic so stuff happens.
@@Minisynapsefor sure, but i still think that rush was a bad play because it seemed like the kiriko just wanted to secure an already secure kill. couldve used it better. and i understand his frustration, cause he was doing really well surviving and making his shots count while just any help from his team couldbe secured more kills.
