It took me WAY too long to realize that "Renfoh" is Hofner Backwards. XD Yeah... Video is Mirrored. I'm not actually Left-Handed.. YET. I've been working on teaching myself, and have made decent progress recently. Just need to get an ACUTAL Left-Handed Bass at this point... you know... when I have money. Lol
@@ZachtheMusicGuy Point is.. why would you? Why would you play left-handed guitar if you're right-handed? You must understand that you're not 'Paul Mccartney' :)
@r.fantom It's as an Impersonator, so I am doing it to make it as accurate as possible. Yes, some people might not necessarily care if a Paul Impersonator is Left or Right Handed, but many people do, so, for the time being, until I can get a Left-handed Bass, I will be mirroring my Right-handed bass. Thank you. :)
Thank You! The Ignitions now I believe are about $400 USD before tax, but I honestly don't like the Ignition, as I've had 5 of them, and they all had issues in one way or another, so I decided to upgrade to the Contemporary (the one in this video), and it cost around $850 USD before tax (And a protection plan that added up to about $1,028-ish), but MAN was the upgrade worth it.
@@gersoneduardojimenezbarret9086 Fair enough! I was trying to recreate Paul's Manurisms for the song during live performances, so that's what those dances are. 🤣
@gersoneduardojimenezbarret9086 Yup! They all had little dances they did on stage while playing. It's a way to get into the Grove of the song while you play! I'm glad you enjoyed! Thanks for watching!
Actually, it is a McCartney thing he did live for the song. You have to watch the Second Ed Sullivan show appearance to see it clearly, as the First Ed Sullivan show appearance clips don't show him doing the move. :)
@@ZachtheMusicGuy Usually the musician does some movements to keep the tempo. But this doesn't look something Paul would do, he was very concerned about his masculine frame. This would suit more guys like Paul Stanley. Another Paul.
It's the Höfner Contemporary Series Violin Bass. The Ignitions have never been the best for me, and the Full Blown German ones are way to expensive, so this is a good middle ground. Lol
They are Power Chords! Paul did that for a few songs. Another great example of Paul playing power chords on a bass is "While My Guitar Gently Weeps." There are a few other songs he plays power chords for that I'm unable to remember off the top of my head at the moment. Since Paul started as a Guitarist, you can hear some examples of him doing "Guitar-like" stuff on bass, like power chords, or at the end of "With a Little Help from My Friends," that last E note is like a Chord on bass with an open E, 7th fret on A, and 9th fret on D and G. Still a Power Chord by definition, but he plays all 4 strings.
@ggallin69 I believe the Rythm/Solo Switch is set to Solo, and it's Bass On, Treble Off! Tbh, I should probably also get some different Flatwound Strings as well, as the ones that came on the bass, while solid, don't have quite the same tone as Paul's. I have some that I'm looking at on Amazon. I just need to save money for now. Lol
@@joycerichardson1810 While that would be nice, those are REALLY expensive. Lol I'd probably get some LaBellas, as I've heard those are really good, have a very close sound, and and are MUCH less expensive. Lol
