I hope someone that is an executive from at least one of the companies that are in the Houston area will watch this video and want to sponsor the "Trae Day" event. The companies in that area wouldn't have the success they have if it wasn't for the people that work for them. They should want to give back to the community. I believe Trae definitely deserves the 2020 BET Humanitarian Award. I realize there are other rappers, R&B singers, and hip hop artists that give back to their communities, but a lot of them are CEO's that receive a lot more help and sponsorship from organizations where it seems Trae is doing it all on his own when it comes to financing his events/projects. For me personally that makes a big difference. I understand the outcome may be the same, but in my opinion when someone reaches into their own wallet to pay for everything without any sponsors helping them it shows true dedication and love for their community.

He got so wrapped up in giving back for Trae Day last month that he forgot to do a promotion run for his album and had to push it back.
