Atlanta Falcons run game needs to rebound and be reliable in 2024

- If the Atlanta Falcons achieve their goals of making the playoffs in 2024, a big part of their success will be based on improvement from their run game and offensive line. Host Aaron Freeman breaks down the potential challenges the Falcons may face in the trenches throughout the upcoming season. I think the reason why the run game regressed so much is because of the QB. Teams respected Mariota a bit more than they did Ridder. Defense HAVE to respect Kirk and the passing game and I think that will help the run game the a lot.
I think people like to make up reasons when the simple truth is the blocking wasn't as good in 2023 as it was in 2022.

We can’t undersell how much of an improvement Kirk is from our QB last year. This alone is a huge reason to be optimistic.
I hope Allgeier has a big role in the running game. He’s to good to be forgotten
I feel his role will be decreased unfortunately just by his body language in interviews
The Chiefs pick the right couple of "dudes" to invest in long term, and they build around them aggressively on a yearly basis.

Bergeron's PFF grade was 59.1, which ranked 41st out of 83 guards. Being middle of the pack isn't exactly "great."
@@LockedOnFalcons 60 percent for rookie is great look at his runblock and pass pro ... allowed 6 sacks and only 4 penalties that is pretty great for a rookie take a look at most rookie guards HE WAS THE 5th RATED GUARD IN THE NFL according to PFF!
Your analysis is too simplistic. Coaching matters, having a quarterback matters, play design matters. Things you are completely ignoring
Ironically you just blaming it on coaching which is what it seems like your doing is a simplistic analysis
I don't ignore those things. You just overrate those things, especially when it comes to impact the run game. The ability to run the ball is football at its most basic essence: go move that 300-pound guy. If you can, you'll succeed. If you can't, then you won't.

@LockedOnFalcons The Falcons were 9th in rushing yards per game last year. Much of the difference was game script and a limited game plan because Smith and Ridder not being able to convert on 3rd down maintaining drive consistently. The personnel isn't the problem in that they proved themselves the year before with the essentially the same line. So I don't understand your arguments.
