There was dessert and some other items/sides, but we can’t spoil it all until we release the full Foundation Room episode. The Foundation Room footage was trimmed down from what we actually had because while this vlog was a day of filming unplanned activities, our dinner at Foundation Room was the one thing that was actually planned that day. And like usual, we have enough content for a full episode but we did want to leave a few surprises for when we release it so I placed a bit more emphasis on the anniversary commentary and only showed off the mains and the bone marrow because that had sentimental value in relation to the anniversary. But rest assured. The dessert we had there was their signature dessert of cereal milk ice cream and we definitely will say that it doesn’t disappoint. So there’s plenty more to show you from Foundation Room in the future - look for a full episode dedicated to that meal in the future 😀 -Paul

To be 100% honest we mentioned something about the waves but I removed that from the video because it referenced a local water park we have in Arizona but we didn’t feel that commentary was relatable enough to a wider audience. But the waves in that pool are tiny, but perfectly relaxing. It’s probably one of my favorite wave pools because it’s centered around a relaxing vibe versus feeling like an actual beach. Awe thank you ❤️. That shirt comes out for special occasion dinners (like our video from our Christmas Eve dinner at Amalfi and now our Anniversary). The surprising thing is that it was a Clearance find at my local Macy’s 😮 But as far as food reviews, that is definitely one thing we did not realize when we started this channel. Or the fact that Marathon videos are hard. Eating one donut is easy. Eating 9 or 10 of them though in a 24 period is hard work!!! And lord knows that we sometimes forget the small things when doing food reviews like B-Roll (and I have to try and compensate with clever editing). Also… keep up your hard work as well. We love seeing the places you show on the channel and the focus on beers. We were finishing the filming of segments for a future beer related video that we have planned and you both were the first people we thought of. Also when you get the chance. My wife wanted asked me to let you guys know that she loved your wedding video. She cried watching it. We got married there in Vegas in 2011 (11/11/11, picked so I won't forget our anniversary) Our video is great, aside from the motorcycles riding by (it was outside) and the fact I had my zipper down the entire time. Although, the zipper thing is pretty funny. I had to laugh at your first video, awkwardly standing there with horrible sound. The first video should be like that and seeing how far you've come is amazing. As a Football fan (Go Eagles!) seeing that Raiders parade was great. Too bad the teams not very good.
Awe thank you. While we have used that footage prior in the Flamingo video to talk about the wedding chapel, but for this one I actually added our officiant doing the whole “It’s Vegas let’s party” - because I cannot have asked for a better officiant. He was lively and entertaining and fit our personalities. I just love hearing how many others in our comments have also had a Vegas wedding. And you do not know how wild that first time filming was. We set up a tripod near the pedestrian bridge at NYNY, had a teleprompter app on an IPad and started filming that first Pizza video. What’s crazier, we had one of our wedding guests (JK from our Peppermill l/Bloody Mary video) along with us watching us both stress out over this and I am quite sure we drove him crazy 😂😂😂 - Filming these videos back then was sometimes organized chaos 😂😂😂 but we got the swing of it down now (for the most part). I look back at that first video getting lots of views and I cringe as that number goes up, but it’s our first video and it’s definitely good to leave it up to see how far we have come in that first year. I even got emotional when you were talking about living your life. I feel like I just started doing that and just turned 28. Seeing your guys videos encouraged me to book a trip to Vegas I was so nervous to go; It was my first time travelling as a adult and doing it all solo! But went this past summer and it was an amazing experience. Keep living your life it’s truly inspiring! ❤️

I was actually worried the dinner segment dragged on a bit but the memories and reflection during the meal and what James said really needed to be in the final video and I also got emotional when editing it that I remembered what Norma Geli had told us about making videos when we randomly met her, “Always make your viewers feel something” and those words are genuinely the primary driving factor that keeps us making content for this channel and keeps us going. Because I am not joking that editing every week and putting out what we do can take its toll (when trying to do it all on top of my 40hr job). The thing is that after the pandemic we started making more of a habit to travel more and not live with regrets as we are both in our later 30’s and nearing 40. So we started with a few cruises based on videos we saw of Ordinary Adventures and Josh and Rachel about Royal Caribbean. Between those cruises we decided to get married in Vegas after watching a Norma video about Vegas weddings (because come to find out it was cheaper to get married in Vegas than Phoenix), and so we had an idea to try vlogging like the channels we love to watch and so we started filming a few videos on that trip, and thus the channel was born. Life is far too short and you never know what can happen, so the drive to want to “try it all” kinda keeps us going and I’m glad to hear that it inspired you to take your own solo trip. You’re doing it far earlier in life than I ever had and all I can really say is to make memories. Do things that are unique and try new foods. Get out of that comfort zone (within reason), because lord knows that you never know whether you’ll get the opportunity to do it again. -Paul

We absolutely LOVE Mon Ami Gabi. We had it with our wedding party for brunch the day after our wedding. And we featured it in our Winner Picks Dinner and our Bloody Mary videos. We definitely would love to feature it for a full video though but there’s also a new brunch at Cheri Rooftop that we may want to feature so we definitely have some things in the planning for that Paris stay that are centric to Paris. But Mon Ami Gabi is definitely a favorite for us so there’s a good chance it will be on the channel again. -Paul

@@qsaxq That was the idea. To be 100% honest that is usually the general tone and general topic of our dinner conversation when we have celebrated something like this over a nice meal. While our Eiffel Tower video was mostly voiceover because we were new and didn’t know much about making these videos at the time, the topic of our dinner conversation at Eiffel Tower was very similar to what was in this video. And we have had similar discussions during meals on a cruise or at Disneyland. We just reminisce and remember and celebrate. But I will also pull back the curtain in saying that when we both started talking about these topics like we usually do on these yearly milestone meals, I was like, “Turn on the mics and camera and let’s record this” because I felt it’s something raw and real that our viewers need to hear. And while it’s usually something we always talk about on these celebratory meals, it really just brings the day full circle. That was a lovely day, and I am not just saying that because we didn’t leave a property for once in our visits to Vegas and actually had a semi relaxing day, it was just something organic and special. We'd like to wish you a happy anniversary and a happy UA-cam-iversary as well. We enjoyed the video, we stayed at Mandalay Bay during our last Vegas visit and enjoyed it. The lazy river was awesome and the wave pool was okay, waves could've been more frequent in my opinion. In regards to your question about Slot Play Sunday, my wife and I believe you guys should keep it on the main channel. We look forward to your videos because your channel name is you Try It All, to us that also includes slots. My wife has a special request for a video, if you can compare Mandalay Bay with MGM Grand rooms, food and pool area. Keep up the great work, and we look forward to all your upcoming videos, it's the highlight of our weekend.

I agree on the waves but I also am not complaining because the peacefulness of it all just had that “vibe” - I feel similar about the slots and have been the biggest supporter of keeping them here on the main channel, but at the same time we are wondering if the difference in content and audience can confuse the algorithm so at the same time if we were to move it to its own thing, will both types of content have bigger reach in the long term for their respective audiences? Plus with a dedicated channel for gambling, I might get the opportunity to add in content for pop craps and other fun casino stuff that I am passionate about that isn’t directly slots but is also gambling related content. It’s just something that we have been trying to figure out as we move into year two. Either way the slots aren’t going anywhere. It’s fun content to make and we love playing them. I absolutely love the idea for a Mandalay Bay vs MGM Grand video. We have footage of room tours now for both properties, but we are missing a full review of the MGM Grand pool complex as our visit there was when their pool was mostly closed during the winter, so to do that one we will have to plan a new MGM Grand stay in order to make that one work. But it’s a really great idea. -Paul

Thank you so much for the feedback. We do have more hotel videos coming. Those ones do take a long time to edit so I try to get those out as much as I can but I usually need to do a few smaller videos to get ahead time wise but they are in the rotation. We even make sure to split our stays so we can cover multiple properties whenever we can. But we have footage currently for a Circa, Plaza, Mandalay Bay, and Horseshoe video with Paris and Aria being in the pipeline for December. Thanks for the feedback on slots ❤️ We are still looking as to what to do with that but the feedback helps. And as for Arizona we are debating on what we can show from here in Phoenix that fits within our niche or has some crossover with the Vegas content so stay tuned as we try and figure out the best way to introduce that content as it does seem to be something that is being asked for 😀 Thanks for watching and for the feedback. -Paul

I’d like to see a video of you guys trying the worse rated food on the strip and worse hotels/casinos like Circus Circus 🎪 🤡 Since you try it all, we need to see some of the worst! Lol
This has been something we have been debating on doing or adding into the rotation. Especially because for all we know we could also have positive things to say about a place with low ratings and we do not ever know how well a place is until we try it. Or it could be something that we try and say “avoid at all costs” But we definitely want to eventually venture into some lower rated stuff because like we did with our Excalibur videos, we gave our stay there a fair opinion and fair shot and even went to Dick’s for good measure 😂. Some ideas that come to mind that we may want to entertain in the future… Circus Circus Buffet, Ocean One, Circus Circus hotel stay, Cake from the Vending Machines, Casino Royale, maybe another shot at the MGM Grand Buffet (because we didn’t have enough for a full episode but the verdict was “it’s dry”) But this is a great idea. Between those cruises we decided to get married in Vegas after watching a Norma video about Vegas weddings (because come to find out it was cheaper to get married in Vegas than Phoenix), and so we had an idea to try vlogging like the channels we love to watch and so we started filming a few videos on that trip, and thus the channel was born.
Life is far too short and you never know what can happen, so the drive to want to “try it all” kinda keeps us going and I’m glad to hear that it inspired you to take your own solo trip. You’re doing it far earlier in life than I ever had and all I can really say is to make memories. Do things that are unique and try new foods. Get out of that comfort zone (within reason), because lord knows that you never know whether you’ll get the opportunity to do it again.

We absolutely LOVE Mon Ami Gabi.
We had it with our wedding party for brunch the day after our wedding. And we featured it in our Winner Picks Dinner and our Bloody Mary videos.
We definitely would love to feature it for a full video though but there’s also a new brunch at Cheri Rooftop that we may want to feature so we definitely have some things in the planning for that Paris stay that are centric to Paris. But Mon Ami Gabi is definitely a favorite for us so there’s a good chance it will be on the channel again.

Got to try the new balcony rooms at Paris last week. Balcony nice view,bathrooms??? No shelf in the shower & no bath mats. Kept hitting my shins on the bed frame. It was bigger than the mattress & stuck out!!! The reception we had in Vanderpump's made up for it!!! (Back to Caesars)

To be 100% honest that is usually the general tone and general topic of our dinner conversation when we have celebrated something like this over a nice meal. While our Eiffel Tower video was mostly voiceover because we were new and didn’t know much about making these videos at the time, the topic of our dinner conversation at Eiffel Tower was very similar to what was in this video. And we have had similar discussions during meals on a cruise or at Disneyland.
We just reminisce and remember and celebrate. But I will also pull back the curtain in saying that when we both started talking about these topics like we usually do on these yearly milestone meals, I was like, “Turn on the mics and camera and let’s record this” because I felt it’s something raw and real that our viewers need to hear.
And while it’s usually something we always talk about on these celebratory meals, it really just brings the day full circle. That was a lovely day, and I am not just saying that because we didn’t leave a property for once in our visits to Vegas and actually had a semi relaxing day, it was just something organic and special.

We'd like to wish you a happy anniversary and a happy UA-cam-iversary as well. We enjoyed the video, we stayed at Mandalay Bay during our last Vegas visit and enjoyed it. The lazy river was awesome and the wave pool was okay, waves could've been more frequent in my opinion. In regards to your question about Slot Play Sunday, my wife and I believe you guys should keep it on the main channel. We look forward to your videos because your channel name is you Try It All, to us that also includes slots. My wife has a special request for a video, if you can compare Mandalay Bay with MGM Grand rooms, food and pool area. Keep up the great work, and we look forward to all your upcoming videos, it's the highlight of our weekend.

I agree on the waves but I also am not complaining because the peacefulness of it all just had that “vibe” - I feel similar about the slots and have been the biggest supporter of keeping them here on the main channel, but at the same time we are wondering if the difference in content and audience can confuse the algorithm so at the same time if we were to move it to its own thing, will both types of content have bigger reach in the long term for their respective audiences? Plus with a dedicated channel for gambling, I might get the opportunity to add in content for pop craps and other fun casino stuff that I am passionate about that isn’t directly slots but is also gambling related content. It’s just something that we have been trying to figure out as we move into year two. Either way the slots aren’t going anywhere. It’s fun content to make and we love playing them.
I absolutely love the idea for a Mandalay Bay vs MGM Grand video. We have footage of room tours now for both properties, but we are missing a full review of the MGM Grand pool complex as our visit there was when their pool was mostly closed during the winter, so to do that one we will have to plan a new MGM Grand stay in order to make that one work. But it’s a really great idea.

We do have more hotel videos coming. Those ones do take a long time to edit so I try to get those out as much as I can but I usually need to do a few smaller videos to get ahead time wise but they are in the rotation. We even make sure to split our stays so we can cover multiple properties whenever we can. But we have footage currently for a Circa, Plaza, Mandalay Bay, and Horseshoe video with Paris and Aria being in the pipeline for December.
Thanks for the feedback on slots ❤️ We are still looking as to what to do with that but the feedback helps.
And as for Arizona we are debating on what we can show from here in Phoenix that fits within our niche or has some crossover with the Vegas content so stay tuned as we try and figure out the best way to introduce that content as it does seem to be something that is being asked for 😀

I’d like to see a video of you guys trying the worse rated food on the strip and worse hotels/casinos like Circus Circus 🎪 🤡 Since you try it all, we need to see some of the worst! Lol
This has been something we have been debating on doing or adding into the rotation.
Especially because for all we know we could also have positive things to say about a place with low ratings and we do not ever know how well a place is until we try it. Or it could be something that we try and say “avoid at all costs”
But we definitely want to eventually venture into some lower rated stuff because like we did with our Excalibur videos, we gave our stay there a fair opinion and fair shot and even went to Dick’s for good measure 😂.
Some ideas that come to mind that we may want to entertain in the future… Circus Circus Buffet, Ocean One, Circus Circus hotel stay, Cake from the Vending Machines, Casino Royale, maybe another shot at the MGM Grand Buffet (because we didn’t have enough for a full episode but the verdict was “it’s dry”)
