- This old song reminds me so much of my aunt because this has been one of her most favorite songs...it has many childhood memories along each note and in between each line...I dedicate this to my aunt - my way of saying "thank you for the happy childhood memories" :-))

I would hope to never meet the right man at the wrong time to later on in the end have to say goodbye. I would rather meet the right man at the right time while I'm already and prepared for him so I don't have to say farewell my love. I'll be saying welcome my love lbss. Therefore, my love can stay here as long as I can have him but that would totally suck to meet someone at the wrong time but they're the right person for you. Damn song was so genius!! I have a different take on this song. My mother and I had a co-dependent relationship for a lot of my life. My mother was a narcissist and was very demanding and critical of everything I did. I told her one time about a guy that I was crazy about and she told me he was a lawyer and would never love me, because I worked with children and my mother thought that was a waste of time and there was no money in that. This song could easily describe our relationship, until her cruelty reached a new level and I finally told her I had enough; she hung up on me and I we were estranged for the last ten years of her life. Her death brought out a lot of conflicting emotions. The love for her never went away, but when she died, I finally felt free of her. It's a damn shame. I used to play this song over and over and wonder if I would ever have the strength to pull away from her. It didn't feel good, like I thought it would, but it saved my sanity. I had to work to build up my self esteem. I have a good cry when I listen to this and then I go on with my life; living, learning and forgiving.
