I love my TalonX. It’s definitely jerky, and rides stiff, but I think it makes you feel more engaged with the machine. I even love the sound, and feel of the gear changes. It feels very “mechanical”, and I like that about it. You’ll get more used to the touchy throttle, the more you ride it. I also think the stiffness makes it feel very stable, when drifting around turns at high speed. I put bigger tires on mine, which drastically improved the ride, and gear changes. It feels like it was designed for 30”-31” tires. Some people even put 32’s. Enjoy!
@@jamiesloan7259 oh yes, i love my X as well now. I have gotten used to it and really enjoy it so much! The gear noise doesnt bother me much, youre right about that. Feeling very mechanical. Love that about it too. I do wish they would have put bigger stock tires in it, youre right about that they should put 30's on there. I might do that later on. The other thing i like is the fact you feel "safer" inside of it and a bit more comfortable than a quad. Thanks for watching!!!
@@jamiesloan7259 quads fir me. Sport and utility. My first machine i got when i started riding when i was a kid was a Honda 3 wheeler. DEATH trap machines LOL
@@Rubi-RedRider My health went downhill and I had to give up riding. I rode until I was 70 so I did ok. You may have notice our ride at huckelberry was my last ride. Have fun !
@@grizzlygrandpa7348 I see and i understand that. You're health is more important. It was sure a pleasure meeting up with you for that ride at Huckleberry Flatts. I do plan on heading back up there to Oregon this July, so I'll always remember that ride with you. Did you sell your Grizzly? Anyway, take care of yourself, buddy. Ill ride at Huckleberry for you. ✌✌👍 I will be taking Rubi up there this time.
What year is your Talon? You’re breaking it in? I thought they made the doors a whole piece not missing that opening anymore. Did they stop? I have a 2023, it does not have those openings in the door.
It's a 2022, still was brand new as a "carry-over" that was hanging around the dealership for about a year and a half. They marked it down at a killer price that i couldn't pass it up. That's why I was out riding to break it in as it's still brand new. (It is done now being broken in). It too did not have the full lower door panels as they didnt have those from 2019 to 2023. The new 2024 models come with them now from Honda. The ones on mine are an aftermarket. You can also order them as an accessory from the Honda website, but those being OEM are a bit pricey. The aftermarket ones are cheaper, also pretty much the same thing.
