Worked for Mark Saginor for 3 years as his receptionist and personal secretary at his medical practice in Century City. Saw a lot of prescription abuse, never left the office without his triplicate prescription pad (strictly for narcotics)...hence "Dr. Feelgood". Saw a lot of beautiful young playboy playmates getting pre-surgery exams by Saginor (I'm pretty confident he made them strip completely so he could ogle and touch) for their plastic surgery (crazy because they were already perfect). Saw huge albeit empty bottles of Methaqualone (Quaalude's) in his home and used as planters??? Witnessed many bizarre and extremely sketchy things but also saw him at times as a very good diagnostician who helped people. When I was leaving, he was just getting into some sleazy and undoubtedly illegal shenanigans with a pharmacist and at a Workman's Comp clinic. I'm very glad I left when I did! The only plus during my employment was meeting many interesting celebrities, and being able to get to the front of the line of any happening club or restaurant based on the knowledge that I was his assistant. Other than that he was a Type A personality and a total narcissistic jerk who made me and other employees cry on more than one occasion and he was super cheep with us. Somewhat surprised to see how very low he has sunk...
Interesting story as I’m watching this soon after premier of “Secrets of Playboy” we know many people were witness to many shady goings on there but as with most who’ve much to share, are always silenced. I’m just surprised it’s taken this long after his death for to come forward and speak of what really went down. Poor Holly got roasted for her tell all book but now people may not think of her as an opportunist but rather for her honesty and bravery!!

I remember Dr. Mark Saginor. His daughters were lovely girls, very young when I met them up at the mansion and thought, dang, your dad brings you here? I think Mark started out being decent, but the effects of the never ending parties and beautiful women was too much for him to stay in control of. He wasn't a monster, but he did get pretty wrapped up into the party lifestyle. I hope he has recovered from his addictions and is servicing the public in a better more wholesome way.
