Sunday one hour special episode was according to me the worst episode of Ashoka......now with Vindusar and Chanakya's unnecessary delay in arriving at Patliputra , the director has again started his chutiyapa.....Don't know how long I'll be able to watch this show...
I don't think we need to be too harsh on the director-writer duo. Their attempt of highlighting the life of Ashok should be praised, because nobody had done that earlier. It is true that all the serials based on ancient times, which run on Indian national television don't always adhere to the actual fact and they are mostly manipulated, but what this director is doing is beyond everything. He is manipulating history according to his convenience or for the sake of T.R.P . So, I think we the sensible viewers should stop watching this serial right now. If T.R.P becomes low; the telecast of the serial will automatically be ceased.
we are unfortunate that the idea to highlight Ashok came into the minds of this retarded duo.............manipulation is acceptable as long as it is logical.......this duo is spitting out whatever shit that comes to their mind................Chanakya(DD series) and Chandragupta Maurya(2011 series) were great serials.......and finally its incredible that some of the worst episodes have got 1000+likes...so it implies that TRP of this show would not decrease no matter what shit comes on the screen
Then it is we the viewers should be blamed...isn't it ? Let me give an example- suppose you know that a particular restaurant prepares bad quality food, but still you visit it regularly to eat. Suddenly one day you fall sick, then who should you blame...yourself or the restaurant ? It is the same with this serial, the director is being encouraged to manipulate history because we the audience are liking it.

May i ask something? i think Ashoka has more than an older brother.. but, why Ashoka's older brother was only Prince Sushim here? also, i think Ashoka only had a (i repeat "A") little brother... i'm not from India.. so i didn't know.. can someona who truly know this series explain me?
