Wow... I've never seen this set, we had 4 hours to rehearse the day before this show and it seems to have gone pretty great (considering we were down a guitarist).
Hey Lance, I am on a 30 day FB block for being a bad boy. But I did see this share on it today and sat down in my home theatre and watched the fuck out of this. Word has to get out about this concert. Absolutely brilliant stuff. I see my friend Leon Lawson is playing keyboards and he does a fine job. Needless, will share the shit out of this once my FB jailtime is over. All the best, John Francis
So glad you like@@michelleradick, hope you check out my new solo album coming Feb 15th, you can hear some of it and pre-order special limited edition version and other cool merch now on PledgeMusic.com! :)
One of my few regrets is not going to this concert considering I lived within walking distance of the venue in ATL. I would've been one of the few in the room that knew every word to their songs. I knew Lance was a great singer based on the albums but to see him pull it off live puts him on another level.
Amazing find and a band I would’ve loved to catch live. King’s pipes for Walking on Top of the World are phenomenal. The Book of Secrets and Ten More Tales albums are timeless...
00:00 Desert of Lost Souls 00:52 Walking on Top of the World 07:20 Savage Tears 15:22 Higher than the Sun 22:04 Shelter Me 28:21 Ten More Tales of Grand Illusion 35:40 Day Breaker
Thank you for sharing this. I had seen the Ten More Tales video from their Perfect Balance CD release. I discovered BoP back in 2000 and was blown away by their amazing sound. Remember that there even was a quite active Yahoo group mailing list with band members interacting with us fans. Sadly they were around during the dominion of nu metal and late artelnative crap. I remember distributing their promo tape for The Book of Secrets at a Dream Theater - Queensryche - King's X concert at the House of Blues in Orlando back in 2001.
You certainly did Pete, I remember Derby 2002 when I walked into the main room and heard BOP for the first time - Just sensational, my jaw dropped in amazement and completely hooked from then. xx
Absolute Fav metal binge band. wish I could have saw it all live. I still have all Lance's side projects (even Avian) and the one USM that Tony Richie and the other guys did on the side.
Does anyone here know Crises from Germany? Thos band reminds me of my old band. Check out Crises Broken Glass (1998). And our Album 'Balance" released in 2004 (completed in 2000)

They’re such a great band, but Lance King was by far their best vocalist.
