@@Denkooo100 Katenec would be threaten to death by some Slovenians after Yugoslavia won that game against Spain in the second round at Copa del Mondo :). So, he didn't feature against Argentina. But probably this was a struggling measure (amongst many others) to keep Yugoslavia united.
@@Denkooo100 At 1990 world cup it was just Katanec(from Slovenia), and he didn't feature against Argentina, because of death treats coming from Ljubliana ;). That's for sure. Katanec might have played some qualifying games for Euro 1992. Those death threats came after winning against Spain, where he sent an interesting goal head pass to Piksi Stojkovic. He was a little mentally affected in those days, in fact any of us would be, we 're just not used to receive such threats on daily basis :).

@@republicofhandball8815 Katanec played 2 more games for Yugoslavia after the World Cup, and there were other Slovenians in the team, Džoni Novak...
