What is UP guys!! Of course I wanted to check out our girl Kelly Rowland, I loved her performance in the film. I hated the overall theme of the movie though. I think I don't like thrillers. Let me know if you check it out and what your thoughts are.

I couldn’t finish it. I lost interest after the sex scene. 😂 Tyler needs to hire help but his ego won’t allow him to do it.
I had to forward through that sex scene…. I couldn’t do it!!!!
I stopped watching after orgy scene. Acting was flat and unrealistic.
The best part was Kelly Rowland clothes!! Whoever styled her for this movie was on point!! But the movie was awful!!

Let us be honest, the script was terrible. The writing was extremely sloppy and the acting was flat. Mea was said to be a strong and resilient Lawyer and she had this alleged murderer fire her because she would not admit she found him attractive. She also slept with him literally two seconds after he slept with some random white girl (while she watched). I have so many unanswered questions: 1. How did the sister-in-law ended up sleeping with the artist? 2. Did the sister-in-law die after being stabbed? 3. Did the mother-in-law die? 4. Did the husband die? 5. Why did Mea go meet with the Art Dealer? I am done with Tyler. The entire movie was trash.

I fell asleep during the movie...then woke up to the brother and mea fighting. Fell asleep again, the husband was on the road dying. Fell asleep again, woke up and the brown chocolate thang was getting outta jail. I have no idea what the point of the movie was.
I am cracking up!!!!!!!!! My niece told me she fell asleep too… saw the ending and was like…. what did I just watch… lol!!!
I did fall asleep too, could have been because I had just eaten 😂 but I did go back to where I left off and finished it, it was ok I’ll give it ⭐️⭐️’s

I agree 100% I figured it out 10 minutes into the movie. Why would you give a watch to someone who's dying..time has ran out🙄 + what woman/wife black ,white, purple green or orange would let her " mother n law" speak to her like that it gets 1/2 a ⭐ from me...YUCK

Mea culpa, which means "through my fault" in Latin, comes from a prayer of confession in the Catholic Church. Said by itself, it's an exclamation of apology or remorse that is used to mean "It was my fault" or "I apologize." Mea culpa is also a noun, however.

Tyler Perry has no help with his writing and ot shows. Another set of eyes would've helped tremendously.
We are meant to suspend belief when watching films....however...it still needs to make sense. This movie made absolutely no sense.
It was like he combined Fall From Grace with Temptation....with no additional care placed in making us care about any of these characters. I liked maybe two of the characters. I couldn't sympathize with Mea at all because choosing to stay in a relationship with that toxic ass man and family was a CHOICE.
I love every movie genre aside from romantic comedies, and I'm here to tell you that it isn't really the genre, it's the writing. Tyler Perry isn’t a good writer. At all. And it shows. He's good for entertainment purposes but lately these films aren't entertaining.

The movie was horrible. Slow and dumb. Made no sense. Stupid like what? Just like that Grace movie. Now Kelly Rowland is a good actress. She's so beautiful. The script sucked.

"Mea Culpa" which mean though my fault" it's an apology or remorse. I love all of Tyler Perry's movies. He want the audience to use their thinking powers. Which will make you understand what the plot is. Kelly Rowland was a good pick for her roll in Mea Culpa, but how was she at fault? I loved the mother's role she have 2 sons, she is a very ruthless, controlling, manipulating and a calculating person who would go along with her sons dreams, schemes, ideas and thoughts and ruthlessness to get a head by any means necessary even a murder plot. Where her oldest son wants to run for political office, which to me is her most favorite son, her younger son was tossed between good and bad he is easy to manipulate. Which is why he was using drugs and lost his job. I just didn't quite understand what the older son had against the accuser it had to be more than getting with his wife. I personally liked the movie. I will have to watch the movie again to get it. Good job ❤😊

The bigger question is how can a highly paid BLACK FEMALE lawyer let a black dude talk to her like that. Her role wasn't portraying a lawyer but more like an insecure teenage school girl. Tyler Perry needs to hire writers.

Chile 😂 Tyler strikes again 🎉 the acting was horrible, script a mess and confusing and I beleive its another thing they put in our faces in Holly-hood to show what they really do behind closed doors and Kelly with the mess too...and her acting was not good she has been better...that botox in her lip had her stuck 😆 the scene she watched him with the white lady then proceeded to kiss him and they jumped on his bike without him showering first 👀🤢 I had to go pray 🙏 Lord get Tyler Perry 💀
