@@craigpalmer9196 Strange, it is listed in my account. Have hidden a couple of films as I want to specialise in WW1, but then noticed that the bike ones were also getting quiet a few hits.
Steve cant believe the range of your quadcopter,,,is it the same one you've used for all your films was just wondering how much life you get out of one ,,and many thanks for these films they are so well made...
It's a Phantom 3 advanced. Battery last for nearly 30 minutes and on some occasion I have had it about a mile away from me. I have been very impressed with its performance and video quality. It's the 2.4K camera. They actually make a better one, a 4k. It is the same drone for all my films so far.
I have also had it up to over 1,200 feet in altitude before I start to loose signal, which is amazing.
I have considered a new one, but as this is working so well, I will wait a while.
He flies it very slowly, and runs after it.......
As soon as I saw the location - Languedoc - I thought of the Cathars, and the Albigensian crusade. Steve, look up a book called The Perfect Heresy by Stephen O'Shea - if you have travelled that area of France, you will find the book compelling.

Thank you for watching. For this film it was a DJI Phantom 3 advanced 2.4k. I have since changed it for a DJI Mavic pro 4k.

Good question. I filmed it last September and forgot all about it until recently. I have scoured Google Earth and various maps trying to find it. I know roughly in what area, but cannot find it now. So, I have no idea what its called.
Steven Upton thank you for the reply. do you recall the name of a nearby town? Id like to have a go on Google earth as I'm reason ably handy geolocating from the air. Of course if you can't recall any nearby town I'll have to assume you were on a covert mission for Her Majesty :) great aerial footage BTW. Thank you.
Go to the south of France, not far from the Spanish border, on the coast. Find the town of Perpignan. Just north of there is Rivesales. We were driving around somewhere about 8 to 10 miles north-west of there. In the vicinity of Tautavel. Hard to be more specific than that.

Thank you for watching. I have to confess that when I filmed this I was really just testing the drone to see how far it would go. On getting home I liked the footage but forgot where I filmed it, so could not do any research. Later on, a UA-cam viewer identified it for me.
