Hills of shivers and Shadows was an emotional ride and I actually enjoyed it. There was never a boring moment. However, there was a lot of emotional and mental abuse in the form of manipulation and forced decision-making. The second book was even crazier and had me up past my bedtime.
Hey Lacey here's my March wrap up I only got two three books in March 1. This could be us by Kennedy Ryan 2. The partner plot by Kristina Forest 3. Through the Glen by Samantha Young😊
I was wondering if you can recommend any books with « hidden identity? » Preferably where the mmc isn’t who he presents himself to be. But the opposite is okay.
Ohh maaaan. (SPOILERS AHEAD!) I read Hills of Shivers and Shadows recently and I tore the book apart on goodreads which I feel a bit bad about but... really? $25 and 600+ pages later I was left sick to my stomach and so upset with how the ending went. The first 50% or so I loved this book so much. it almost read like a secret shifter romance to me so I really thought the boys were secret werewolves or something and I was SO excited. Then comes the devils bargain and everything fell off the cliff for me (pun intended). I was rooting for the broken MMC the entire time and then he just dies in the end? Your kidding me right? I threw this book across the room by the end of it and will not be reading anything else in this series. It was my first Godwin book too...
Anything by Kresley Cole is always a great read. Her audiobooks are a must!😅

I’m reading the Tia Williams now. So good!
It is hunter. I knew it for a second there I thought it was the other guy, but I’m so glad it’s Hunter.
I loved The Witch Queen of Halloween. It was a lot of fun.
Love your wrap up videos 😍
