Which lamp?
Don't use this model on a 24v solar system that supplies the voltage same as in the batteries during charging, blew the living bejeezous out the the 24v 4700uf cap, had to replace it with a 120v one, the rest of the circuit is ok up to 30v, it clipped even when supplying it 12v until I replaced the cap, higher voltage = higher output on this unit ... live off-grid and getting enough volume out of either 5v or 12v speakers aint always easy, caping this at a higher voltage makes it so even the lowest output device I connect to it has enough volume, one problem I have using it with a Windows 10 laptop via BT is if 2 sound sources occur at once (ie VLC and a streaming source both at once) ... no sound is heard if one of those sources stops till I switch to another speaker then back to BT ... or sometimes going back a bit on the time slider starts the sound again, which makes me think it's Windows and not the amp, it has to be the lowest noise amp I've ever setup ever in my life, and due to everything here being DC, the bluetooth bypasses the noise put into the output from the laptop (my main source of entertainment) if connected via wires ... the DC to DC PSU puts a lot of noise through the mic/earphone/external speaker jack and no noise suppression device was ever able to fix it! truly decent amp and low cost and robust, had it over 2 yrs now.

Any idea to help me out? I tried with mid range speakers L/R and a small 30w ayima 3inch subwoofer. I used first 12v power supply and then tries 20v. both times midrange works great but subwoofer doesn't work right it sounds weird and warms up really quickly and with the 20v it blew little smoke also... Is the amp bad or what could be the problem?

What to do when it turns on the. Off
I bought one ZK-MT21 recently. Its chips are : BT JL As21BP0C466-25A4(but can not find the data sheet from JL). 4 NE5532 OP amp. And 2 class D CS8673E.
It works fine with good sound. However I faced one problem. If I connect it with AUX input, the sounds become mono not stereo. After debug for whole days. I found the EMI interference between CS8673E and BT chip. I have to disconnect the audio path (remove C15/C17) and input audio signal into main volume directly. Then I can get stereo and 2.1 output. Due to I onle use it for desk PC, no need BT connection. So it's ok to disconnect BT path. But I am wondering, why this ZK-MT21 can't play 2.1 (become 1.1) when using AUX input?
Does any one see the same problem? Or this ZK-MT21 use the worse EMI chips?

I have the TB-21 , it has another chip, but has the mono problem once you connect and use the AUX port. Sounds terrible. Grrrr

It goes to 24 v but i don´t know how many watts.
amplifier only pulls the current it needs from psupply depending on the load.
people tend to crank the volume at max so to keep the amplifier safe, use only 24V (7A to 8A max) or 10A but avoid maxing volume for long period.

You are recommending the ZK-MT21 over other TPA3116D2 based amps such as the XY-S100H, mostly because of the Chinese app related security concerns for models like the XY-S100H? Is that right?

A less than 5minutes working Amp..........just received mine yesterday put a 22VDC power supply (i noticed a spark on the DC Jack connector) then test it with BT connection and played with 1 song the bass and treble when adjusting are scratchy and the heatsink also is getting warmer but the sound it produced is very decent after playing the song i switched-off and assembled the rest of the part but when powering up again it puff a smoke then no more i removed the heatsink and found the two chips are badly burnt it has a fake TPA3116D2DADR this is the same brand and type of Amp that showed here or maybe mine is a copy. the TPA's can handle up to 26VDC that is why i wonder why it burnt out. so be aware of buying this Amp.
The back cover can go together with output on every chanel, better isolation between speaker output.
