As for Ghanaians and the use of kings I don’t know. I haven’t seen any kingdom in present day Ghana and the that exhibit extraordinary historical significance places. For instance cities like St. Petersburg in Russia, Paris in France, London Great Britain, Doha Qatar, Beijing China, Kuala Lumpur Malaysia, Casablanca Morocco, Addis Ababa in Ethiopia please if anyone can give an example of any city in Ghana that meet the standards of these cities in those various countries. What legacy and historical monuments and places that the so called kings past and present have been built. And what were the evidence of remnants of any ancient cities destroyed by war that can be identified. After we migrated and settled in our present settlement we continued to fight amongst ourselves and couldn’t built anything of substance or value. Our ears are tired of hearing about any pre historic events that perhaps never happened or has been exaggerated or mythical in many ways. Any historical monument that remains in place right now were the places built by the colonizers and most are the castles and forts not great walls and palaces by the ancestors.
