    TASTING NOTES:
Bobby Burns - soft and smooth spice with subtle smoke
Rob Roy - a slightly less sweet version of a classic Manhattan. In my case, sweet, subtle smoke with honeyed fruit on the palate
Blood & Sand - complex flavours of sweet, fresh orange and cherry that are ideal for all cocktail fans (not just spirit-forward cocktail fans)
Rusty Nail - intriguing spices and honey

For you young-un's just getting started, I recommend one of the books Steve has on the shelf behind him, "The 12 Bottle Bar". It's a good way to have plenty of recipes on hand without going overboard on the amount of bottles you'll need. It's quite easy to get carried away and have too many bottles in your house.... Also, it's a good idea to pick a cocktail or 3 that you personally like and master them so when throwing parties you can present them as your "house specialty drinks" and can mix em up real quick from memory. If you can vary the main spirit behind each of your specialties it would be ideal, but mostly pick ones that you personally like.

Many(all) favourites in this video. All very simple to make. One twist I learned from another is for the blood and sand don’t use orange juice instead 2-3 dashes of orange bitters. Obviously not the same drink but a quick build in glass alternative. Hope to see a few more scotch drinks in the future.

dont keep licking the long spoon
if INDIAN's will see you doing this they will not consume that
some thing which goes in some one mouth cant touch the food again, tasted is not eatable in our country
if need to taste choose a new spoon every time, that same spoon can not touch the food or drink again
    mind it

Most popular and being made with some unknown blended crap? What the hell is 'dom'? Looks like a Benedictine or b&b bottle

The team from Pure Scot were kind enough to send me a complimentary bottle - it’s only just been released recently so that’s probably why you haven’t heard of it. maybe you should try it before being negative about something you have never tried? If you want to send me a “better bottle”, I’d be more than happy to use it in my next video 😆 Dom = Dom Benedictine... you can see this in the description if you read the written recipe and yes, I should have referred to it as Benedictine.

@@StevetheBartender_ thanks for the response, popular would normally be used the something popular now...not a recipe from a) 1930 and b) using a base spirit no one has heard of. Personally I have Benedictine and B&B...and I know no one who even knows what it is.
Nice to see interesting drinks, especially with Scotch but the presentation was a bit deceptive....using some other Scotch (peated/not/blended) would produce possibly a different result. Two were 'classics' the other two not.

The cocktails were selected in a poll - I had in excess of 2,000 responses.. hence why the title was ‘most popular’.. Benedictine is a pretty well known ingredient.. but could depend on where you are located, what bars you frequent and many other factors..
