What an Amazing Story of our Alberta History! Thank You Ayesha Clough!
Thank you for watching, Brien!
Thank you, Brien. It's an honour to tell John Ware's story.
This is awesome! It is so hard to find Alberta Black History Month content for kids! Especially something of good quality.
I can help you. I am teacher and there is a lot of it out there. Check the libraries as well.
Great illustration good story telling 👍🏾💕👍🏾💕
Thank you, Patricia. Kids love Hugh Rookwood's art. He mostly illustrates superheroes, and he brings that energy to the story of John Ware. Warm wishes, Ayesha

The funds were created because English banks did not lend to NON-WHITE people: Including Quebecers, Native Americans and blacks. The first Canadian banks were founded by Molson, McGill (black slaves) and Griffin: Francophobes.
When racial profiling occurs in a commercial sector such as banking, Quebec, Indigenous, Black and people of color customers are often treated with a lack of respect and are often seen as a risk and denied credit at least as early as 1900.
