Look at DJs like Craze, A-Trak etc. It took them decades of practice to get that good. They practiced in their rooms for years and they've won several world titles each. You can't get to that level by leveraging your unrelated youtube channel. That's why I said DJaying takes skills.
Idk how it is in your city but I’ve seen many people just use the connections they have to get started in their local scene. At least where I’m from- people learn for maybe 6 months and start at the local bars. But ngl Kofi has a ton of connections including nightlife I’m sure- if he wanted to start being a legit DJ in London he probably could!
