It seems like the best thing to do is focus on farming and normal dungeons. Do the bare minimum of goblin events so that you can go after the treasure boss. And of course, do the two 2x crest runs. There's barely a noticeable increase in treasure from the tiny chests, but noticeably more treasure from the larger chests like ornate chests. Elites seem to have noticeably more loot so if you do Cryanger, just hunt for elites, don't bother sweeping the entire map for remnants or opening each and every chest. Outside of farming your normal gems, lairs might be worth it, because of the ornate chests, but the problem is finding them and holding a 4-party together long enough to make it worth it, before someone decides to bail for a terror rift. Terror rifts seem to drop more loot, but only noticeable when you destroy a spire. You don't get more fragments. So, it's okay. I haven't tried doing an oblivion pillar, yet. Gauntlets are very lucrative, provided you are in a party where no one is making you linger. Challenge rifts are meh. You only get the increase when you kill the level boss. Normal dungeons is good b/c you have elites. And it appears the drop rate on set items have increased (I don't think it's double, though). Farming has been fantastic. I can fill a bag solo in the time it usually takes had I been in a normal-mode 4-party. I'd imagine a 4-party must be crazy good. So, get a 4-party rando farming party. So skip bounties, do the bare minimum to get your normal gems and completing the events. Then just do farms, dungeons, and gauntlets and do it in in a full party. Anyways, that's been my experience. Good luck everyone. UPDATE: I just did a few more cryangers, and I think they are more worth it now. The timeworn chests do give a noticeable amount more, but the other chests do not. So, focus on elites, and getting the timeworn chests. Don't worry if you do not sweep the entire map. Also, I just tried the shard tower in Souther Dreadlands. This quest is definitely worth trying. Set up your tower, go farm and come back in an hour. Enough stuff drops that you can fill an entire bag easily. Do it's kinda nice. While you farm, your towers are farming too, all at double the rate.
I know already no bp double no ex double for the plunder as its stated in the rule of double rewards. I play the plunder because of the legendary gear. Not aiming for the pitty 1gold too😅.
the event targerts the players that don't have time to play 6 hoursa a day..not the people that are all capped at gear ranks of 30 etc. its a great event
Sure, it’s great for people who don’t have time to play. But what I’m stating, is that it’s not actually “double” like it’s advertised. On the new BP weeks I don’t have time to hit the cap twice because of work, but it would have been nice to be able to achieve twice my BP points, as that’s what we were told in the patch notes. 🤷🏻♀️
@@TheOnlyRicia yeh its a bummer they didn't increase the limit so you get double the max weekly points, but it does let you do it faster, i had enough time to smash it out fast so was pretty happy with it.
Only one thing I noticed is that yesterday I dropped 13 normal gems from terror rifts farming (which got doubled to 26). Not sure what's up with that, I thought the daily cap was supposed to be 12 o.O
I’ve been using the event to grind legendary items. I got my tempest mastery maxed out and I’ve now switched back to necro because I’m missing a lot of essences over there. Because I’ve gotten literally hundreds of Legos since the event started, I’ve also gained like 300-400 cr too.
@@TheOnlyRicia I like the tempest more, but the Main reason I swapped is so I could do gauntlet 3 advanced. People have been looking for necros for the bone armor. It’s hard to find enough people who have the dps to complete the event though.
echo put out a video this morning about some kind of double gem lair thing. i didnt really understand it bc im tired from my graveyard shift at work, butit sounded like you could time things to get 2 weeks of gems in 1. idk, im just so damn tired.
I’ll try to test this over the weekend and let you know. But the event states that you don’t gain more than the weekly gem cap, so it will be interesting to see. 👀

The double normal gems include hidden lair? That would help faster farming.
From what I’ve seen and heard, the double gems do also drop in lairs yes.
My lairs got capped on 15th lair so they cap faster but you get 24 gems from 4 member groups instead of 12.
Yes but your still at same weekly cap. It just means we farm double the speed as normal
