Jews are an ethnoreligious group indigenous to the Land of Israel in the Levantine Middle East. The vast majority of Diaspora Jews originated in the Middle East and that includes Ashkenazim who descend from Judeans in the Land of Israel and this has been proven in multiple genetic studies and DNA tests. A lot of Jews have Caucasus ancestry due to Mesopotamian input from being in places like northern Iraq and Iran before pogroms/expulsions
The face of the Ashkenazi demonstrates mixing with other peoples, but probably after the year 380 it was common for this miscegenation to end.
